Loving Lillie, Epilogue
Disclaimer: I don’t own any of these characters apart from Lillie and Kimmy.
Three weeks after Lillie’s arrival, she, Monica and Chandler were beginning to feel like a family. Monica had grown to love her daughter, and Chandler thought of Lillie as his daughter as well.
Lillie couldn’t help but think about telling her Rachel the truth. It went without saying that the two sisters had grown quite close, even though one of them didn’t know that they were sisters. Everyone (apart from Lillie, Monica and Chandler) just believed that they were close because Rachel was Monica’s best friend.
One day, as Rachel, Monica and Lillie were chatting in Central Perk, Rachel made a startling announcement.
"Daddy’s coming to stay with Ross and I for a few days," she calmly told them.
Monica gasped, and Lillie went white. "Oh, when?" Monica tried to keep her voice calm.
"Tomorrow," Rachel said, smiling. She loved her father, even if he didn’t like her choice of boyfriends.
"Oh, well, never mind," Lillie gabbled. "We can’t see him, cos Mom and Chandler and me – are, uh, going away for the weekend, right Mom?"
Monica nodded. "Thanks," she mouthed, so that Rachel couldn’t see her. "Yeah, I’d forgotten to tell you," she added, out loud. "I, uh, have to get back now, because we haven’t packed yet, have we, Lillie?"
"N-no," Lillie agreed. "Come on, bye Rach, see ya soon. Oh, and say hi to Ross and Kimmy for us." She grabbed her mother’s hand, and they raced out of Central Perk.
As they were running up to the apartment, Monica smiled gratefully at her daughter. "Thanks, Lillie," she said. "You saved my sanity there."
"No problem," Lillie replied. "I don’t want to meet my rapist father, either, you know."
Monica sighed and opened the door of their apartment. "I forgot that this was hard for you," she said. "I’ve been so wrapped up in myself that I forgot that you’ve met a whole new family." She paused. "Now let’s tell Chandler that we’re going away for the weekend."
"We’re what?" asked Chandler. He put his arm around Monica and smiled at his stepdaughter. "Hello, children," he added.
"Children?" repeated Lillie. She hadn’t heard him use that statement before.
"Oh, ignore him," Monica told her. She turned to face her husband. "We have to go away for the weekend." As Chandler’s face broke into a dirty smile, she glared at him. "With Lillie," she added. His face changed from gleeful to disgusted.
"What kind of a mother are you?" he asked, jokingly.
"I mean, Dr Green is coming to stay with Ross and Rachel, and Lillie had the bright idea of escaping and going to stay somewhere." She wasn’t being sarcastic.
"Dr Green?" Chandler repeated, panicking.
"No, sweetie, it’s okay, because Lillie got us out of it, so don’t worry." They both smiled at Lillie, and Chandler put one arm around her.
"So, where are we going?" asked Lillie.
"Anywhere," replied Chandler. "Anywhere to get my girls away from Doctor Green."
"How about… Oh, I know," Monica exclaimed. "Atlantic City."
"Yeah, okay," Chandler agreed.
"Cool, I’ve never been there," Lillie laughed. "Wow, this family thing is great!" Her parents laughed along with her.

Three days later, Monica, Chandler and Lillie arrived back from Atlantic City, each feeling very happy. They unpacked – Lillie had inherited her mother’s obsessive tidiness – and then went to Central Perk, to meet their friends.
"Hey, guys," Lillie called out, running to meet her new friends. "Joey, Phoebe, Rachel, Ross, Kimmy…" she paused, as a new person caught her eye. "D-Dr Green?"
Everyone greeted the little family, apart from Dr Green, who smiled at Chandler, and looked worriedly at Monica.
"Monica, go home," Chandler hissed. "Take Lillie."
"We have to go," Monica stammered.
Lillie intervened. She didn’t want anyone else to get hurt by her father. "Bye, guys. Rachel, come back with us, we’ve missed Kimmy, we want to see her. Oh, Pheebs, do you wanna come too?"
Rachel looked at her a little oddly, but she got up, and Phoebe didn’t seem to notice the anxiety in Lillie’s voice. The girls got up and left, while Chandler went to sit down – as far away from his wife’s attacker as possible.
Back in the apartment, Rachel looked oddly at Monica. "Mon, what was that about? Lillie?"
Mother and daughter exchanged a look. "We should tell," Lillie insisted. "It’s not just your secret anymore. Kimmy could be in danger."
"Kimmy?" Rachel exclaimed. "Kimmy? What’s the matter? Tell me, you have to tell me!"
"Okay," Monica sighed. "You know how, uh, when I got pregnant with Lillie, I didn’t want to sleep with anyone…"
"She was raped," Phoebe interrupted, bluntly.
"Thank you," Monica said, sarcastically. Phoebe nodded, happily, not noticing the sarcasm.
"Well," Monica continued. "I knew who attacked me. A-and, only Chandler and Lillie know who it was – oh, and the attacker. And I have to tell you, especially Rachel, because-because…"
"Because it was my dad," Rachel said, blankly. "My dad raped you." Monica nodded.
"Wow," Phoebe breathed. "This is better than a soap opera. I knew Monica had some shady secret, of course, and I knew Dr Green might as well have been called Dr Evil… but still… I never guessed that those things were linked!"
"I can’t believe it," Rachel whispered. "My dad – my sister?" she asked, indicating Lillie, who nodded.
"Yep," Monica muttered. "I’m sorry, I’m so sorry," she added. "I-I don’t want to make things hard for you, Rach."
"No, no, I asked." Rachel shook her head. "Wow, my dad – and he’s a rapist. He caused Lillie. He-he was the reason you were so sad all those years, Mon. Why didn’t you hate me?"
"Because it wasn’t you," Monica told her, simply. "You didn’t rape me – and if you did, Lillie wouldn’t be here," she quipped.
"Oh no," Phoebe said, in the way that was characteristic to her. "Don’t joke now."
"I-I have to see him," Rachel said, standing up. "Look after Kimmy, and don’t come down to Central Perk."
"Oh no," Phoebe repeated. "I’m following her," she decided, as the door closed. Ignoring Lillie’s protests, she walked out of the door.

The whole gang was sitting around Monica, Chandler and Lillie’s apartment. "I can’t believe you slapped him," Phoebe giggled, referring to how Rachel had dealt with her father.
"I can’t believe that you screamed that he was a lying paedophile rapist," Chandler laughed.
"I can’t believe my baby sister never told me who raped her," Ross said.
"I can’t believe you chose me over your family," Monica smiled, and hugged Rachel.
"Why wouldn’t I?" she asked. "You and Lillie are two of my best friends, and I’m not going to let that go." Lillie felt tears run down her cheek, and she joined in the hug.
"Wow," Joey breathed, sounding happy.
"What?" asked Ross.
"Rachel looks so hot when she’s angry," Joey smirked, giggling like a naughty schoolboy.
There we are, you wanted an epilogue, and you got one. I think I might write other stories using Lillie, actually. Tell me what you think of that idea.
