TOW All the Flashbacks

Intro: Hello everyone! I'm back for my second fanfic. Sorry it took me so long to get the second part posted. To be honest,
I totally forgot about writing. But I've taken some of your suggestions and its done now. Please read and review.
You should probably read the first part before you read this. Oh yeah, please don't tell me this has been done
before and its just a combination of other fics because I know that, hehe. Remember, this is my first series so
don't be too harsh. thanks! :)

Scene: m&c's. A very pregnant Monica is laying on the couch, reading, Chandler is in the kitchen.
Monica: Ow.
Chandler: (runs over to her, very concerned) Monica, what's wrong, are you okay?!
Monica: I'm fine honey, the baby just kicked.
Chandler: (he smiled, putting his hand on her stomach) I can't wait till she's born.
Monica: Me too. Can you believe its been 9 months already? It seems like just yesterday I found out I was pregnant.
Chandler: yeah.
Monica: Speaking of the baby, what are we going to name her? We don't have a lot of time left.
Chandler: Monica.
Monica: (laughs, pauses) Wait, You're serious?
Chandler: (nods)
Monica: We can't name her after me. How about (picks up a pad of paper) Let's see, these are some I picked out.
Aimee, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Ana, Brooke, Lindsey, Katie, Allison, Julia, Jena, Ashleigh...
Chandler: Monica, do we have to do this now?
Monica: Well, we have to do it soon.
*Joey Enters*
Joey: Hey guys, what's going on?
Chandler: We just talking about the day Monica told me she was pregnant.
Joey: Oh I remember that day...(rolling his eyes at Chandler)
Chandler: What? (unconvincingly) I was calm. (pause) What!? I was!

***Flashback to 8 Months Earlier***
Scene: Chandler & Monica's. Monica is sitting on the couch, not paying attention. Joey enters.
Joey: Hey Mon.
Monica: (doesn't answer)
Joey: Mon?
Monica: Huh? Sorry Joey, I just have a lot on my mind.
Joey: Whatever. Hey, did you get those gummy bears I asked for?
Monica: (not interested) Sure, they're on the counter.
Joey: I don't see them.
Monica: (still could care less) Just look, they've got to be there somewhere.
Joey: Nope, not here. Where's Chandler? Maybe he ate them. (picks up something off the counter) What's this?
Monica: (jumps up) No Joey put that down!
Joey: A pregnancy test? (Chandler walks in) You're pregnant!!?
Chandler: (drops his briefcase)
Monica: (realizes he's there) Chandler, honey, calm down. Please don't freak out.
Chandler: I'm not freaking out! (Starts pacing) Oh my god, I can't be a father. I barely had a father of my own.
oh my god....

***Back to the Present***
Joey: (laughing)
Phoebe enters.
Phoebe: Hey, what's going on?
Joey: We're talking about the day Chandler found out Monica was pregnant.
Phoebe: (Laughing) Oh god! You freaked out so much!
Chandler: Shut up! (Pause) Besides, I only freaked out for a few minutes.
(everyone coughs sarcastically)
Chandler: shut up!
***Flashback - Later that day***
Scene: Central Perk. Chandler is sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. There are a lot of empty coffee
cups on the table in front of him. Rachel walks in and sits down next to Chandler.
Rachel: Are you okay Chandler? Monica is really worried about you.
Chandler: Rach, what am I going to do?
Rachel: Chandler, this is a good thing. You love Monica, right?
Chandler: Of course. (pause) But how can I do this? I mean... look at my father. He's a cross dressing freak in
Vegas. Sure he says he cares about me now, but what about when I was little? How can I be a good dad if I never
really had one?
Rachel: But Chandler you're not your father. And you and Monica are in love, something that your parents never
really were. You have to understand that, you are nothing like your parents.
Chandler: You know what, you're right. (gets up) Thanks rach, you just stopped me from making the biggest mistake
of my life.
Rachel: (smiles and watches him leave)
Scene: Monica & Chandler's. Monica is sitting on the couch, crying. Chandler walks in.
Chandler: Oh god, Monica, honey, I am so sorry.
Monica: I know you don't want this baby but I do. I love you so much, but I can't give up our baby, (starts crying
again)
Chandler: (sits down next to her, holds her in his arms) Monica, I do want this baby, and I can't believe I acted
like that. Its just... I was so worried about becoming my father, I didn't want to hurt you or our child, and I am
so sorry I did. I just wasn't expecting to hear about it, from Joey, when I walked into the door, you have to
understand...
Monica: (hugs him) I believe you. (pause) I'm sorry you found out the way you did.
Chandler: That's okay, it doesn't matter now. (kissing her)
***Back to the Present*** (by now, Ross and Rachel have entered the apt)
Phoebe: I guess you're right, you didn't freak out for that long.
All: Yeah, I guess. (long pause)
Joey: hey, lets get pizza.
Ross: Okay.
Chandler: I'm going to the bathroom.
Joey: (gets up to order it) who wants extra pepperoni?
Ross: I do.
Phoebe: Vegetarian for me.
Monica: Joey— call a cab.
Joey: What-Why? They deliver the pizza, we don't have to go get it.
Monica: No! Call a cab, I think its time.
Joey: for what?
Ross: Oh my god! Joey, Monica's water just broke, call a cab now!
Phoebe: Calm down Ross. She's got hours of pain ahead of her.
Monica: Ugh! Someone please call a cab.
Joey: Okay, okay. Here we go. (dials phone)
Rachel: Let's go downstairs.
Monica: Wait, we have to wait for Chandler.
Chandler: (coming out of the bathroom) What's going on?
Rachel: Monica's having the baby, lets go!
Chandler: oh my god! w-w-what d-do w-we do?
Monica: (angry)Chandler, this is not the time to freak out, now come on!! (walks out the door with everyone else,
only Chandler is left)
Chandler: (nervous) okay.. ( follows them)

Scene: hospital waiting room. Phoebe, Ross, Joey & Rachel are sitting in various places.
Phoebe: How do you think she's doing in there?
(We hear Monica screaming, Chandler comes out)
Rachel: Chandler, what's going on? Is she okay.
Chandler: I don't know she kicked me out.
Ross: Who, Monica?
Chandler: (ignoring Ross) She reminded me I was the one who put her in this situation and made me leave.
Rachel: Don't worry, she'll be calling you back as soon as this contraction is over.
Chandler: Yeah, I better go get her that ice she wanted. (walks away)
all: bye/have fun/etc.
Ross: Have they decided on a name for the baby yet?
Phoebe: Not yet, they're going to have to come up with one soon though.
Joey: I don't see why they can't name it Joey.
Ross: Because its not a boy.
Joey: well, they could name her....(thinks) Josephine?
(Everyone makes a face)
Joey: ...or not.
Nurse: (coming out of Monica's room) Excuse me, Mr. Bing?
Rachel: He's still getting ice. Is something wrong with Monica?
Nurse: No, just tell him his wife wants him back in here.
Rachel: Sure.
Chandler comes back
Phoebe: Monica wants you.
Chandler: Thanks (leaves)
(long pause)
Joey: (gets up) Where do they keep the pizza around here? I'm starving! (Looks around)

Scene: Monica's hospital room.
Doctor: Okay Monica, you're dilated at 9 centimeters. It's time to push.
Chandler: (standing next to her & holding her hand) Honey, I know you can do this. Pretty soon it will all be over
and we'll have our little girl.
Monica: (nods and starts to push)
Doctor: I can see a head. Come on Monica, just a little more... (long pause as Monica pushes, baby cries)
Congratulations mom and dad, you have a baby girl. Chandler, would you like to cut the umbilical cord?
Chandler: (w/ tears in his eyes, nods and does so. The nurse takes their baby and hands it to Monica & Chandler)
Monica: (crying) She's so beautiful.
Chandler: Just like her mother.

Cut to waiting room about an hour later.
Nurse: (to Phoebe, Rachel, Joey and Ross) you can come in now
Cut to hospital room.
Rachel: oh my god you guys, she's beautiful.
Chandler: Thanks (smiles)
Ross: What did you name her?
Joey: (crossing his fingers) (quietly) Joey, Joey, Joey!
Monica: Ashleigh Elizabeth Bing.
All (except Joey): Awww.
Joey: Damn! (Everyone looks at him) sorry.
Phoebe: She looks just like you guys.
Monica: She does, doesn't she. (smiles)
Doctor: (enters) Mr. & Mrs. Bing, can I talk to you for a minute?
Monica/Chandler: Sure.
Doctor: (to the rest of the gang) I'm sorry but could you leave for a few minutes?
All: okay.
Ross: bye mon.
A nurse comes in and takes Ashleigh from Monica.
Monica: What's going on?
Doctor: Well, that's what I wanted to talk to you about...
The camera zooms in on Monica and Chandler's panicked faces
