Disable the Norton AntiVirus Splash Screen (All Versions)

This setting will stop the Norton AntiVirus Scanner startup logo from being shown.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, named "DisableSplashScreen" and set it to equal "1" to disable the splash screen.

The next time Norton AV is run the splash screen should not be display.

Settings:

System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Norton AntiVirus\Clinic]
Name: DisableSplashScreen
Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
Value: (0 = enable splash, 1 = disabled splash)
