In Loving Memory of Dale Earnhardt
NASCAR Winston Cup Series

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 18, 2001)

Dale Earnhardt, 49, of Kannapolis, NC has been pronounced dead at Halifax medical Center in Daytona Beach Florida, of injuries received in a last lap accident in the Daytona 500. The seven time Winston Cup Champion was cut out of the car and immediately transported to hospital. CNN footage at the hospital showed EMS workers performing CPR as the took Earnhardt from the ambulance.  Reports indicate there was head and chest trauma.

NASCAR fans across the world mourn the loss of their Hero, Dale Earnhardt. This page is dedicated to all of his fans that share the pain that we feel in our hearts at this devastating time.



Dale was a man that loved his fans.  His dedication to them and the sport of NASCAR will never be forgotten.
