Friendly Breezes Pony Club has had regular meetings since the 2006 season began in January.
The Club participated in the D Quiz held on March 25, 2006. The Quiz was hosted by Fairwind Pony Club.
Friendly Breezes enter 2 teams in the Quiz at the D - D1 level. Our team consisting of Kaylan MacInnis, Jenna Bingley, Andrea Jack, Emma Shaw and Tara MacIntosh placed 1st. Our second team consisting of Matthew Cormier, Sarah Isherwood, Amanda Foster and Kayla Landry placed 3rd.
D-D1 individual placings for our club were: 1st, Jenna Bingley, 3rd, Matthew Cormier and Emma Shaw (tied) and 4th, Andrea Jack.
The Friendly Breezes Pony Club sold tickets on 15 lbs of lobsters. The draw took place for Mother's Day.
We will be attending the Strawberry Run Event in Ben Eoin, Cape Breton on June 18.
Friendly Breezes is hosted the Prince Philip Games in Salmon River (near Truro) at the Central Nova Horse and Pony Club on August 20. Five teams competed in the games and everyone had a fantastic time!
Testing was done for D, D1, D2 and C Pony Club Levels on August 24. Rider testing for those levels will be held on October 9.
Fundraising efforts have included:
Selling tickets on 15 lbs of lobsters. The draw took place the day before Mother's Day.
On June 3rd, our club packed groceries at Atlantic Superstore.
