Special needs? Learn about Evan's
experience in Buenos Aires:
As luck would have it, I happened to be in the area of South
America on vacation and my wife had booked us with a 'complete
package tour' that included a guide, and a brief city tour.
However, I found ' friend in BA' and asked to speak with their
contacts, because I needed a local that could accomodate my
'special needs'.
I am a musician, so when I travel, I like to meet and interact
with these people in a musical sense and I have asked countless
travel agents, promoters, and 'package tours' , but none could
provide me with the opportunity to share my music with the 'locals'.
The tour we received with our 'package tour' was basically a
90 minute taxicab ride through the city, highlighting the 'must
see' sights.
What 'friend in BA' did, was let me see all the necessary sights,
but they also put me in touch with the locals. I met local musicians
and had a great opportunity to play with them. I learned more
from these young ladies about the wonderful city of Buenos Aires
and their culture then I ever could from a tour book or 'lunch
box' tour! I walked away with a real understanding of BA culture,
one that might have been 'sugar coated' by the other tour operators.
I implore you to give these people a chance. I never felt more
secure, more welcomed, and more 'in touch' with any other travel
advisors. Hands down, the best guides ever!
I will never forget my adventure to Argentina, but most of all,
I will never forget my 'friend in BA'."
