What I Want
Here is a list Of all I wanna give you. Many a thing you already have While some may be new to you. I want to give you, An everlasting smile. Never to frown in your life, Not even for a while. I want to give you Happiness,to last your life. To fill you with all the joys, Nothing to cause any strife. I want to care for youy The way you do for me. For such persons are truly rare, One so precious as thee. I want to share with you, My joys and happiness. To share and halve our pains, And double our joys always. I want to take away, All of your pain. Let it be mine from today, In your life, let there be bo pain. For it is not some thing you deserve, So you should never suffer. Let me take all your agony, To make you always feel better. Be it in physical being, Or be it, concerning your mind. Let me be there to show you the way, When the path is difficult to find. I havce high hopes, Many, that may be unreached. But, I truly want my wishes fulfilled, To take you to heights, never reached. You may deserve bettert Much better than what I could ever be. For you are a precious soul, With a golden heart of thee. So God did not give, What I earnestly want. Be it a joke, be it verdict, I can do nothing but rant. As I retire tonight, My cheeks wet with tears, My mind is in a conflict, My heart in shears. For I don't know hwo to, How to care for you, How to fill you with happiness, When you are no longer in view. I suspect my own ability, Just don't know how to cope. My responsibility, soon, would overpower, All I have now is a lot of hope. But I'd still be there, Forever just near you. Would try to do whatever I can, Though I may be far from you. So be there, my darling, Be what you've always been, A caring and loving friend, Even when you are unseen. And I'd be with you, Forever to take care, To take away all your pain, And my happiness for you to share.
