It hurts

I have come across some persons
Who I found so dear.
Whom I loved and trusted so much
Who never bothered to call, when they're gone from here.

Bu tthey were so close to me,
And gave my spirits a much needed lift.
Guided me thu' the seas
And never let me drift.

I too helped them the way I could
And always tried to make them happy.
In whatever way I could
By giving my love and company.

That's why I wonder
Why they've been so brute to me?
Never bothered to keep in touch
Never bothered to find about me

I wonder how much sincere they were.
In showing their love
I feel much much pained to see this.
I don't think there was any love.

I wonder how people can be so insincere
In even showing their love and care.
How can someone forget so soon
It simply means, they did never care.
