2006

This year I actually finished early! Everything was in place the day before Thanksgiving, with the exception of the radio signs that I didn't want to put out early.

We moved into a new house this year, so I had a lot more space to decorate. I also needed quite a few more extension cords! I bought several at after-Christmas sales last year, but it wasn't enough. Due to the change in landscape, I also had to modify all of my sequences for this year. I balanced the power load on each controller to run no more than 13amps with everything on, then took another 10% off by reducing each channel's output to 90%. I also changed the 1/2 power sections to 65% so the lights wouldn't look too dim. I had noticed that the white lights were more yellow on the lower setting.

Here are some early pics, I'll add more next week:

The lights are synchronized (or choreographed) to "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24" (Trans-Siberian Orchestra), "Joy to the World", "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year" (Garth Brooks), and "Feliz Navidad" (Jose Feliciano).
