What is myPay?
As of October 15, 2002 myPay is the new pay service provided by DFAS. It has recently replaced the previous E/MSS system and has brought with it many advantages. MyPay is now easier than ever, provides complete security and saves money. By using myPay, members can save the Armed Services and the American taxpayers millions of dollars in printing, postage and customer service costs. Currently, the Army has approximately 28 percent of its force using the myPay system. This number is currently lagging behind those of other services. We feel that with your help this number can leap ahead and at the same time benefit you and your country. You can log on now to the myPay web page at https://emss.dfas.mil/mypay.asp .
Service members can also set up accounts to allow spouses to view their pay information on-line. This is very useful when the service member is deployed.
Why use myPay?
MyPay's new design helps you find the information and complete the transactions you want in just three clicks! Available nearly around the clock, myPay means no waiting in lines or holding on the phone. MyPay is also a great option for those who travel frequently or are away from their duty station. With clear confirmation messages, myPay means confidence in knowing your pay is going where it should, when it should.
