It is time for American Socialism.  Be an American Socialist.  Dont wait for your nation.  Revolucion in your own life.  Break the chains of landlord and employer.  Live life with principles.  Be La Revolucion.

American Socialism must replace Failed Capitalism:  The Investor Class destroyed your nation.  There should be no Wall Street, no New York Stock Exchange, no DOW, no NASDAQ.  Global corporations must be replaced by local community stewardship.  All major institutions of our community should be nonprofit, owned by the public, funded by tax, managed by community representatives.  Profit must be kept for the local community.  Think Local.  Act Local.

CAPITALISM FAILED:
Stores are flooded with crap made in China.  Capitalist desesperados flood media with pathetic ads for superfluous crap.  CAPITALISM IS AN EMBARASSMENT:  It is shocking to listen to radio and TV advertisements today:  How embarrassing!  No one needs these absurd products or services.  The entire market economy is a sick joke built on nonsense.  If consumers opened their eyes, no one would buy anything and the entire market economy would collapse overnight.

CAPITALISM IS SLAVERY:
If you have no capital, you can only be a slave or runaway slave.  Capitalism is a Total Failure for the Worker Class:  Where is our American Dream, our mansion, our wealth, our Quality of Life?   We work too hard to acquire anything.  Harder we work, poorer we get.  Capitalism works only for the Property Class, Greedy Gangsters, Vampire Parasites.

CAPITALISM IS MORIBUND:
Adam Smith and Karl Marx predicted the Death Stage as Monopoly:  Rule by a few giants that strangle competition and stifle progress:  Oligarchy.  Plutocracy.  Crony Contractor Corruption.  Economic stagnation.  We are right now in this Monopoly Death Stage.

GLOBALIZATION FAILED:
Globalization is capitalism at its worst:  Slavery on a planetary scale.  Moving our manufacturing to China and our services to India was criminal insanity to drive up unemployment and drive down wages.  NAFTA and CAFTA and WTO did nothing but transform us all into underemployed desesperados forced to accept slave wages, devastating your community and collapsing your Quality of Life in a Global Social Darwinist Rat Race to the Bottom.

FRATBOYS STOLE YOUR NATION:
Immoral insatiably greedy sociopaths are devolving your nation into a banana republic of criminal plutocracy and crony contractor corruption.   Dumbing down of public schools and pop culture and news media is an attempt of the Property Class to control the public mind, to render workers illiterate clueless disempowered unquestioning voiceless slaves, barnyard animals able only to mumble clicks and grunts.

Workers are obsolete dinosaurs from the Industrial Revolution when muscle labor was needed on assembly lines and battlefields.  Globalization and technology rendered billions of people superfluous:  Factory labor is outsourced to peasant slaves in China.   Teleservices are outsourced to India.  Domestic infrastructure is done by robots:  Push-button automation for assembly lines, road construction, garbage pickup, dockyard freight loading.  Workers are shuffling down sidewalks unemployed, wondering how they can contribute to an economy that so obviously has no use for them whatsoever:   Now every worker expects to be downsized at any moment without notice for no reason.  At best we are merely tolerated by global corporations for a few months until executives find cheaper labor overseas.  Our work is superfluous, meaningless, a complete waste of time.  Life is a sick joke to the Worker Class.

Millionaire Fratboys get rich from Passive Income and hide in suburban McMansions guarded by private security patrols:   Fratboys do no work, do not walk the sidewalk, do not ride the bus, do not send kids to public school, do not go grocery shopping.  Every contact with the public is done by House Slaves who do all the work, raise the kids, shop for groceries, cut the lawn, police the property, clean the toilets.  Suburban millionaires are isolated from the public like French Aristocrats in the 1780s:   Class Isolation caused the French Revolution and 1790s Terror.  Class Isolation will cause something similar in any nation which has no use whatsoever for the vast majority of its perpetually underemployed citizens.

AMERICA IS NOW A CASINO ECONOMY:
Winners win unearned fortunes as losers starve.  None of this New Wealth is earned, but won through inherited trust funds, tenant rent, stock dividends, CEO pay, crony contractor corruption, insider trading, palimony settlements.  Today anyone who works for a living is a Punk Chump Fool:  Hard work brings no reward.  The clever do no work but get rich by exploiting the clueless.  American Nouveau Riche Petite Bourgeoisie are no different than Idle Rich Landed Gentry in Victorian England.  Same ethic:  WORK IS FOR SLAVES.

Corporate jobs today totally suck:  Lousy pay, abusive boss, terrible working conditions.  Workers are stuck in tedious slave jobs in windowless basement cubicles being yelled at by abusive female supervisors.  No empowerment.  No freedom.  Every aspect of your job determined by faceless aristocrats hiding in suburban McMansions thousands of miles away.  Show up one morning and find yourself locked out, outsourced without notice. Pinkerton goons escort you off campus, confiscate your ID badge and toss you your final paycheck.  Only reward for faithful service: You lose your health insurance.

Why bother working?   Does hard work pay off?   How many dishes do you have to wash, how many work orders must you complete, how many hours of cubicle slavery wins your 10,000 sq ft mansion on your own ten acre horse ranch on your own private road?

Thanks to Global Corporate Imperialism, the future belongs to the dull, illiterate, uneducated, unquestioning, unimaginative, obese bovine female happy to be stuck in a tedious slave job in a windowless basement cubicle being yelled at by an abusive female supervisor, a pathetic miserable wretch who wont even protest or light anything on fire when she inevitably gets outsourced.

State Unemployment Counselors offer no help for this ocean of outsourced desesperados:  Counselors can only accuse the unemployed of some imaginary sin:  Somehow you must have done something wrong:  You chose the wrong career, so you have no one to blame but yourself.  Just go back to college to spend your life savings on more education you dont want for some new career you dont want.  Counselors do not address the true cause of unemployment:  Immoral executives run amok outsourcing jobs overseas with no regulations or accountability whatsoever.

Today the job market is a game of Musical Chairs, as more chairs are outsourced and more Americans are rendered unemployed with each new round.  Before the Bush Neocon Dark Age, unemployment offices were for teenage parolees.  Today unemployment office lines are overflowing with gray-haired Baby Boomers, degreed professionals in their 50s, betrayed and disgorged by evil global corporations.  Their outsourced careers are never coming back.  Degreed professionals by age 50 face a lifetime of unemployment, welfare, food stamps and homeless shelters.

Money does not imply Wisdom, Virtue, Authority, Credibility or Competence.  The Property Class destroyed our nation and deserve nothing but disrespect.  Their undeserved arrogant hubris will no longer be tolerated.  Their illegitimate authority is an illusion.  These Vampire Parasites do not deserve their unearned wealth.  They deserve to be guillotined.

CAPITALISM FAILED:
When will this fact make news headlines?  Corporate Media will NEVER admit capitalism failed.  You must draw your own conclusions based upon evidence all around:  Look at your unemployment lines, homeless shelter lines, soup kitchen lines, food stamp lines, food bank lines that stretch out the door and around the block.  WAKE UP.  OPEN YOUR EYES.

ENOUGH!
We only play games we can win.  We expect to be rewarded for hard work.  We will no longer tolerate being chained to a series of intolerable deadend brainrot slave jobs.  We will no longer beg jobs from Immoral American Nouveau Riche Petite Bourgeoisie Crackers who did not earn their inherited fortunes.  We will no longer work for any capitalist.  From now on we work only for ourselves and our Class Interests to build Healthy Sustainable Community.

DISRESPECT MILLIONAIRES:
Should you respect a criminal for getting away with crime?   Scientists, doctors, engineers, professors, scholars deserve respect.   But vampires deserve only contempt.  Why are you working terrible jobs just to enrich millionaires who sit in mansions and do no work?   Why are you working overtime to give millionaires idle time?   BREAK THE CHAINS OF LANDLORD AND EMPLOYER:   NO ONE SHOULD MAKE A FORTUNE WITHOUT WORKING FOR IT.

JUST SAY NO TO LANDLORDS:  DON'T RENT FROM ANY LANDLORD CAPITALIST.
SHARE COMMUNAL HOUSES WITH HOUSEMATES AND TENT CITIES WITH FELLOW HOMELESS FOLK.   Suburban mansions should be converted into multiple tenant rooms cheap enough for any minimum wage worker to afford.  Everyone should have his own bedroom.  If you can afford it, have your own bathroom.  But share a kitchen with housemates.  Communal houses should be owned and shared by owners and renters who share our goals for Healthy Sustainable Community and American Socialism.  REAL ESTATE SPECULATION MUST BE MADE ILLEGAL.  Real estate belongs to those who live on it.  Foreign Carpetbaggers must be driven into the sea.

BUY NOTHING:
Boycott everything. Own no more than you can carry on your back.  We are no longer consumers.  We demand free public library internet, free public schools for our kids, free transit passes, free food stamps, free food banks, free emergency room medical care, free clothes, free boots, free water, free bathrooms, free garbage pickup, free solar panels and free land for our tent cities.

WE ARE BUILDING TENT CITIES ACROSS AMERICA:
Our tent cities offer Quality of Life SUPERIOR to Decadent Superconsumer Lifestyle:  The Neocon Era was a disaster that forced Americans to toil in a neverending Social Darwinist Rat Race to the Bottom, as mindless consumers, unquestioning illiterates, decadent materialists whose only ambitions were to live in suburban McMansions, drive gas-guzzling monster SUVs, exhaust resources, steal foreign labor and resources, treat all workers as slaves, privatize public resources, and devolve America into an Evil Christian Imperialist Theocracy.

Living in huge suburban McMansions with grass carpets full of pesticides and herbicides, driving gas-guzzling monster SUVs, exhausting resources at absurd rates, raising obese kids who hate their parents, addicting kids to Ritalin, Prozac, Paxil and dangerous psychotropic drugs, spending fortunes on divorce lawyers and yachts and world cruises and diamonds and bling, all are symptoms of Profound Neurosis.

Decadent Superconsumerism failed:  Unsustainable Antisocial Neocon Lifestyle feared and loathed Healthy Sustainable Community and Ecology.  That petroleum-based superconsumer lifestyle is now an obsolete dinosaur.   Blow it all to hell and start over.  Gotterdammerung.  Good Riddance.

HEALTH WON.  COMMUNITY WON.  SOCIALISM WON.  ECOLOGY WON.

IT IS TIME TO LIVE IN TENT CITIES AND GROW OUR OWN FOOD:
Power from solar panels.  Return to nature.  Own nothing.  Build Healthy Sustainable Community.  Steward our Continental Eden.  Our once and future Continental Eden is the legacy of Chief Joseph, Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse, Red Cloud, Geronimo and Tecumseh.  American Indians thrived in tent cities and sustainably stewarded this Garden Continent for over 12,000 years.  !Si Se Puede!

Imagine Jeffersonian Democracy:
Imagine a nation of landowners, farmers who grow their own food, educated empowered citizens who do not report to any boss.  IMAGINE FREE, STRONG, EDUCATED, LITERATE, EMPOWERED GOOD CITIZENS, STRONG FAMILIES WORKING OUT OF SELF-INTEREST TO FORGE HEALTHY SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY.  Imagine.

Toohoolhoolzote was not impressed.  He crossed his arms and shifted on his feet and muttered something angrily:  Who are you, that you ask us to talk, and then tell me I shant talk?  Are you the Great Spirit?  Did you make the rivers run for us to drink?  Did you make the grass to grow?  Did you make all these things, that you now talk to us as though we were boys?  General Howard noticed a few heads nodding in agreement.  What did he say? the general snapped at the interpreter.  Now it was White Birds turn to speak.  He was an old medicine man, a chief from the Salmon River gold regions, and his people had seen their share of trouble with the whites.  White Bird looked at Howard sternly:  If I had been taught from early life to be governed by the white man, I would be governed by the white man.  But the earth rules me!   General Howard moved forward threateningly: Then you do not propose to comply with the orders of the government?  Toohoolhoolzote stopped for a moment:  The Indians may do what they want, but I am not going on no reservation.

Diana Yates, CHIEF JOSEPH: THUNDER ROLLING DOWN FROM THE MOUNTAINS

Howard Zinn, Lecture at Binghamton University, NY, Nov 8 2008
"Newspapers this morning report highest unemployment in decades.  The government needs to create jobs.  Private enterprise is not going to create jobs.  Private enterprise, the so-called free market, fails again and again.  When the Depression hit in the 1930s, Roosevelt and the New Deal created jobs for millions of people.  And there were people out there on the fringe who yelled, Socialism!   Didnt matter.   People needed it....  There is the interest of Exxon and Halliburton, and theres the interest of the worker, the nurses aide, the teacher, the factory worker.  Those are different interests....  No, the government is not looking out for your interest....  Governments do not represent the interests of their people.  See?  Thats why governments keep getting overthrown....  That's why governments lie.  If they told the truth, they would be out of office....  Look at history, you see people felt powerless until they organized, and they didnt give up, and they built social movements.  Whether it was the Antislavery Movement or the Black Movement or the Antiwar Movement or the Womens Movement, they started small and apparently helpless; they became powerful....   Were not powerless.  We just have to be persistent....  If you join some group, it will make you feel better....  Life becomes more interesting and rewarding when you become involved with other people in some great social cause."

Noam Chomsky, THE PROSPEROUS FEW AND THE RESTLESS MANY, 1994

"There are two important consequences of Globalization:  First, it extends the Third World Model to Industrialized Nations.  In the Third World there is a two-tiered society: a sector of extreme wealth and privilege, and a sector of huge misery and despair among useless, superfluous people....  South Central Los Angeles once had factories.  They moved to Eastern Europe, Mexico, Indonesia....  As you'd expect, this whole structure of decision-making answers to transnational corporations and international banks and raises decision-making to the executive level, leaving a 'democratic deficit,' parliaments and populations with less influence.  Not only that, but the public doesn't know what's happening, and it doesn't even know that it doesn't know."

Noam Chomsky, UNDERSTANDING POWER, 2002, p 200

The United States is off the spectrum:   Whats called libertarianism here is unbridled capitalism.  Now if you have unbridled capitalism, you have extreme authority.  If capital is privately controlled, then people must rent themselves in order to survive.  Now you can say, well they freely rent themselves in a free contract, but thats a joke.  If your only choice is do what I tell you or starve, that isnt a choiceits wage slavery.  Now there are consistent libertarians, and if you read the world they describe, its a world so full of hate that no human would want to live in it.  This is a world where you dont have any roads because you dont see any reason why you should cooperate in building a road youre not going to directly use.  If you need a road, you get together with other people who need it and you build it, and then you charge people to ride on it!  Now who would want to live in a world like that?  Its a world built on hatred.  The whole things not worth talking about.  It couldnt function for one second.  And even if it could, all youd want to do is get out, escape, commit suicide or something.

Hugo Chavez, World Social Forum, Porto Alegre, Brazil, January 2005

"When imperialism feels weak, it resorts to brute force.  The attacks on Venezuela are a sign of weakness, ideological weakness.  Nowadays almost nobody defends neoliberalism.  Up until three years ago, just Fidel Castro and I raised these criticisms at Presidential meetings.  We felt lonely, as if we infiltrated those meetings.  Just look at the internal repression inside the United States, the Patriot Act, which is a repressive law against US citizens.  They put into jail a group of journalists for not revealing their sources.  They won't allow them to take pictures of the dead soldiers coming home from Iraq, many of them Latinos.  Those are signs of Goliath's weaknesses.  The south also exists.  The future of the north depends on the south.  If we dont make that better world possible, if we fail, and through the rifles of the US Marines, and through Mr. Bush's murderous bombs, if there is no south to resist the offensive of neo-imperialism, and the Bush doctrine is imposed upon the world, the world shall be destroyed.  Every day I become more convinced, there is no doubt in my mind: It is necessary to transcend capitalism.  But capitalism cannot be transcended from itself, but only through socialism, true socialism, with equality and justice.  Im convinced it is possible to do in a democracy, but not in the type of democracy imposed from Washington.  We have to re-invent socialism:  It cannot be the kind of socialism we saw in the Soviet Union, but it will emerge as we develop new systems built on cooperation, not competition.  Privatization is a neoliberal imperialist plan.  Healthcare cannot be privatized because it is a fundamental human right, nor can education, water, electricity, other essential public services.  They cannot be surrendered to private capital that denies the people of their rights!"

Ralph Waldo Emerson,
Self-Reliance 1841

"Insist on yourself; never imitate:   Where is the master who could have taught Shakespeare, Franklin, Washington, Bacon or Newton?   Every great man is unique.  Society never advances:  It undergoes continual changes; it is barbarous, it is civilized, it is Christianized, it is scientific.  For everything that is given, something is taken.  Society acquires new arts, but loses old instincts.  The civilized man has built himself a coach, but has lost the use of his feet.  He is supported on crutches, but lacks so much support of muscle.  He has a fine Geneva watch, but fails to tell the hour by the sun. The man in the street does not know a star in the sky.  His notebooks impair his memory, his libraries overload his wit, the insurance office increases the number of accidents, and it may be a question whether machinery does not encumber, whether we have lost by refinement some energy, by Christianity some vigor of wild virtue....  Society is a wave:  The wave moves onward; the water of which it is composed does not. The people who make up a nation today, next year die, and their experience dies with them.  It is only as a man puts off all foreign support, and stands alone, that I see him to be strong.  He is weaker by every recruit to his banner.  Is not a man better than a town?  So use all that is called Fortune.  Most men gamble with her, and gain all, and lose all, as her wheel rolls.  A political victory, the recovery of your sick, the return of your absent friend, or some other favorable event raises your spirit, and you think good days are preparing for you.  Do not believe it.  Nothing can bring you peace but yourself.  Nothing can bring you peace but the triumph of principles."

Friedrich Nietzsche,
TWILIGHT OF THE IDOLS, 1888

"Nothing is ugly except the degenerating man.  Everything ugly weakens and saddens man.  It reminds him of decay, danger, impotence; it deprives him of strength.  Wherever man is depressed at all, he senses the proximity of something ugly.  His feeling of power, his Will to Power, his courage, his pride, all fall with the ugly and rise with the beautiful.  Every suggestion of exhaustion, heaviness, old age, weariness, disease, lack of freedom, the smell of dissolution, all evoke the same reaction: the value judgment Ugly.  A hatred is arousedbut whom does man hate then?  There can be no doubt:  the decline of his type.  Here he hates out of the deepest instinct of his species."

Friedrich Nietzsche,
DER ANTICHRIST, 1888

"What is good?  All that heightens the feeling of power, the Will to Power, power itself.  What is bad?  All that is born of weakness.  What is happiness?  The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is being overcome....  Formula of my happiness:  A yes, a no, a straight line, a goal....  Out of life's school of war:  What does not kill me makes me stronger."

Friedrich Nietzsche, THE DAWN, 1881
"I would not know what to say to workers of factory slavery, provided they do not consider it altogether shameful to be used up as they are, as gears of a machine.  Phew!  To believe that higher pay could abolish your misery, to be talked into thinking that such an increase could transform the Shame of Slavery into a Virtue!  Phew!  To have a price upon which you become a gear!  Are you co-conspirators in the current folly of nations who want to produce as much as possible and be rich as possible?  What vast sums of Inner Worth are thrown away.  Better to emigrate, and in savage fresh regions seek to be Master of the World and master of myself!   Keep changing locations so long as slavery beckons:  Never avoid adventure.  Be prepared for death.  What began at home as dangerous discontent will once outside gain a wild beauty and be called Heroism."

Henry David Thoreau,
Civil Disobedience 1848

"This American government:  It does not keep the country free.  It does not settle the West.  It does not educate.  The character inherent in the American people has done all that has been accomplished, and we would have done somewhat more if the government had not got in our way.   I believe we should be men first, and subjects afterward.  It is not desirable to cultivate a respect for the law, so much as respect for the right:  Law never made men one whit more just....

See a file of soldiers marching over hill and dale off to the wars, against their common sense and conscience, which makes it very steep marching indeed.  They have no doubt it is a damnable business.  Now what are they?  Men at all?  Visit the Navy Yard and behold a marine, such a man as an American government can make with its black arts, a mere shadow of humanity, a man laid out alive and standing, yet already, as one may say, buried under arms with funeral accompaniment....

I cannot for an instant recognize that political organization as my government which is the slave's government also.  There are thousands who are in opinion opposed to slavery and war, who yet in effect do nothing to put an end to them; who, esteeming themselves children of Washington and Franklin and Jefferson, sit down with their hands in their pockets and say they dont know what to do, and do nothing.   At most, they give only a cheap vote.   Moreover, any man more right than his neighbors constitutes a majority of one....

"Under a government which imprisons any unjustly, the true place for a just man is also a prison:   It is there that the fugitive slave, and the Mexican on parole, and the Indian come to plead the wrongs of his race should find them, on that separate but more free and honorable ground, the only house in a Slave State in which a free man can abide with honor....

"Some years ago, the State commanded me to pay a certain sum toward the support of a clergyman:  'Pay, it said, or be locked up in jail.'  I declined to pay.  I condescended to make some such statement as this in writing:  'Know by all ye men present that I, Henry Thoreau, do not wish to be regarded as a member of any society that I have not joined.'  This I gave to the town clerk, and he has it.  The State, having thus learned that I did not wish to be regarded as a member of any church, has never made a like demand on me since....

"I have paid no poll tax for six years.  I was put into jail once on this account, for one night, and as I stood there considering the walls of solid stone two or three feet thick, the door of wood and iron a foot thick, and the iron grating straining the light, I was struck by the foolishness of that institution which treated me as if I were mere flesh and blood and bones to be locked up.  I did not for a moment feel confined, and the walls seemed a great waste of mortar and stone.  As the State could not reach me, it had resolved to punish my body, just as boys, if they cannot come against some man whom they have a spite, will abuse his dog.  I saw that the State was half-witted, and lost all my remaining respect for it, and pitied it....

"The authority of government must have the sanction and consent of the governed.  It can have no pure right over my person and property but what I concede to it.  The progress from an absolute monarchy to a limited monarchy, from a limited monarchy to a democracy, is progress toward true respect for the individual.  There will never be a really free and enlightened State until the State comes to recognize the individual as the higher and independent power, from which all its own power and authority are derived.   A State which bore this kind of fruit would pave the way for a still more perfect and glorious State, which I have also imagined, but not yet anywhere seen."
