| -Why Aeris Gainsborough?- Why is she my favorite character? -When I first played Final Fantasy 7, I didn't think she would be my favorite.- First of all, she wore pink and red, which I thought was strange. I am not really into pink dresses. ^_^ Also, I heard from friends that she dies in the game, so I figured she wouldn't be very important to the story. Boy was I wrong. -Aeris is the star of Final Fantasy 7 in my opinion.- The game began with her, and ended with her. She was the last of the Cetra, the last Ancient, which made her special. She had a knowledge of the Planet and a confidence that dying wasn't the end, it only returned you to the Planet. She knew when people died, they returned to the Planet and that they were happy. She was so confident in the belief that she didn't fear death. She went to face Sephiroth alone and to pray for Holy to save the Planet. I think she knew she was going to die, but wanted to make sure she helped the Planet before she was killed. -I think she was a good friend- ...Especially to Tifa and Cloud. Every time the group got together, she and Tifa went aside to talk together. People who say Aeris stole Cloud from Tifa are wrong!!! Obviously Cloud and Tifa wind up together so how did she "steal" him? Aeris and Zack belong together. It was re-emphasized over and over during the game, how Aeris and Zack were in love before he died. He was her first love and she liked Cloud because he reminded her of Zack. She never forgot Zack. You can't just forget your true love. Aeris was good friends with Cloud, but her one true love was Zack. -She had a kind heart and I think she helped bring Cloud out of his shell. - He seemed so cold and unfeeling, but when he met her, she convinced him to become her "bodyguard" and he seemed to change after that. Also, it was cute how she helped him dress up as a girl to save Tifa... "No! Walk more nicely like this Miss Cloud". - Then there's the intangibles.- I don't know WHY I liked Aeris so much. I liked something about her personality that I can't really put into words. . She seems like she would be a good friend! ^_^ And as far as the pink dress goes, after playing Final Fantasy 7, I would say Aeris is the only person who can pull an outfit like that off and make it look cute! |
