RED XIII (Nanaki):
Although his fiery red fur may make him look like a wild animal, Red XIII's intellect is well above that of most humans. Not much is known about his origin. He's currently being held captive in Shinra's headquarters when he's forced to participate in their twisted experiments. His best limit break is Cosmo Memory.
Red XIII's real name is Nanaki, which you find out upon arriving at his hometown of Cosmo Canyon. Nanaki is old but has the mind of the child because his race's lifespan is much longer than humans. He is extremely intelligent. Originally he was ashamed of his father Seto, because he thought he abandoned their town when it was being attacked. His grandfather Bugenhaggen shows him that his father didn't really abandon the town. His father Seto ran into underground caves to stop a sneak attack from the enemies. Seto fought all the enemies by himself, and died a hero. Nanaki is proud of his father, now that he knows the truth. |
