| Barret Wallace: Barret is the 35-year-old leader of AVALANCHE. He leads the team in the quest to stop Shinra's Mako reactors and save life on the planet. Although he is truly devoted to the team, Barret often regrets having to leave his young daughter, Marlene, alone or in the care of others. Barrets motive are unclear but most believe that Shinra was somehow responsible for the death of his wife. His best limit break is CATASTROPHE. Barret is a crazy guy. He is always yelling and cursing about something. But at the same time, he has a good heart. He tries to do the right thing, even if he may get a little over the top. ^_^ He is a loyal friend, as seen when he sees Dyne again. He is the leader of AVALANCHE, and hates Shinra with a passion because their explosion destroyed his hometown. He seems enraged at Shinra because they disregard human life, and the planet, and only care about getting Mako energy and making money, no matter who they hurt along the way. Barret's daughter Marlene is really his friend Dyne's child, that Barret found after the explosion in Corel. He raised Marlene. When he tells Dyne that Marlene is still alive, Dyne tells Barret that he can't be her father now because his hands are too stained with blood. He tells Barret to take care of Marlene, and kills himself. Marlene is really cute and refers to Aeris as "the flower girl". . |
