It's a little less than a month since the literary experiment coined as "The Frey" has been in motion. We are happy to say that we are going to launch a site with an actual domain and a few more tricky features added within the next two weeks or so. We've also found a few several printing options which we believe are the best investments and the best quality for this B-MAG. What exactly is a B-MAG? Think B-Movie, think zombie cinema so shanty that a guy falls off a building and his limbs disperse. In the next scene you see that same guy lying on the floor with those reattached limbs and a different shirt on. Think B-Movies which still maintain their intrigue, luster, sense of humor, risk-factor and is not without its goofs. That is the way The Frey is meant to be printed, under these circumstances with utmost confidence. And of course, we are too shallow to consider ourselves a Zine.

Literature, the push between the elite publishing ditties and the smaller expressionists has become an ever reeling wire constricting tighter and tighter from both ends. Sometimes there just isn't enough goof and enough humor to independent publications, sometimes there just isn't enough focal point in mainstream humor-satire publications. Sometimes we just like to venture into projects ourselves and create imaginary binaries to feel special! In any event, the premiere issue is called: Posies and Chainsaws and is for July 2006. This issue will come out as an online publication for July and August 2006. However, we intend to publish a print version in September 2006 featuring some favorites and some surprise exclusives! Read over AGENDA for the details! In any event, we'll keep you very posted and very informed about this process for the next month and half or so. Literary Patron Saints, smite us with blessed tidings!

Don't expect us to ask for donations. Instead buy cool stuff and click around. Visit some links, Google some Degrassi fan-fiction, keep us bookmarked - there's still a lot to be done around here!
