6.28.2003 saw charlie's angels full throttle yesterday. demi was AM-AZING! dear lord she kicked the angels' butt. she was so dark and wicked and yeah she was not only good, she was really great! It's magic, I can tell How you set me free Brought me out so easily I saw a world enchanted Spirits and charms in the air I always took for granted I was the only one there But your power shone Brighter than any I've known I'm under your spell Nothing I can do You just took my soul with you You worked your charm so well Finally, I knew Everything I dreamed was true You made me believe The moon to the tide I can feel you inside I'm under your spell Surging like the sea Wanting you so helplessly I break with every swell Lost in ecstasy Spread beneath my willow tree You make me com-plete 6.19.2003 veen got mugged at gunpoint yesterday.=( there were 2 men aboard motorcycle along her street who accosted her and threatened to shoot if she didn't hand her bag to them. veen, i hope you're ok now. i'm sure you'll be safer now that your neighbors have decided to hire security guards to patrol at night. so be careful guys, i myself got victimized by hold-upers on motorcycles. it was 6am a year ago along makati avenue. i was on my way to the airport. i hailed a cab and as i was about to get in the car, i was hit on the shoulder by the motorcycle's driver because he passed way too near me. his companion reached for my handbag and i was surprised, didn't realize what was happening when they already got my bag.. good thing i didn't let go and i managed to hold on to my bag. they weren't able to snatch it. i have everything in there. my plane ticket, my wallet, mobile phone, cash, cards and ids. funny thing is, these criminals are the ones who have the audacity to be mad at you if they fail in their "task" or if you alarm the neighborhood about their criminal acts. so, just be careful always when you're out peeps. these people don't care whether you're old or young, guy or a gal, rich or poor. as long as they get money the easy way, they won't spare you. 6.16.2003 i am so sad. i've been closely watching the availability of the domain name alanismorissette.net for weeks now. it has gone on redemption period at the verisign registry. that means the domain was deleted from tucows (registrar) due to nonpayment (bad billing address on file) and its about to become available for registration. last week the status was already "pending delete". that means it's about to be deleted from the registry database and the domain will be returned to the pool of available domains. means i can go ahead and register it. and it did become available on the 13th. however, on the same day, somebody else got it.=( it was a weekend and i was not online. though i had a reseller get it for me, unfortunately the domain was back-ordered by ultimate search. so they had it registered.=( i really wanted to have it. i should've back-ordered it from snapnames ($69). its a controversial domain. if you remember alanis sued the dennis sartoros (webmaster/owner) of the alanismorissette.net fansite a couple of years ago, because it sold alanis merchandise. of course alanis doesn't really care about the merchandise, just that her own domain, alanis.com is being overshadowed by the dotnet counterpart because .net had a strong online community gathering at the message boards. sigh. somebody hit me. was up since 7am. did chores. went to philam office to fix a few things. went out with robin. met up at the enterprise towers. lunch at glorietta foodcourt. coffee at starbucks. movie at g4. couple of beers at streetlife. went to jg office at 7pm. surfed. 10pm, my shift started. off at 7am. 6.13.2003 haven't been able to blog for the past few. what a shame. maybe should do this as a weekly thing. sat - spent the whole day with my friend. watched tv, watched tv and watched more tv. can't get enuf of csi, angel and alias - our fave shows. ordered food from haphchang. watched some more tv. ordered food from kfc. more tv. sun - went home with sister and chris. slept all day. wasn't able to dine out with parents. sunday is the only day of the week that i get to sleep. mon - went back to makati. connie picked me up from my place around 9.30p. office. doing gy still. read more emails about the clients new launch. website had major revamp. database reworked also. crm tool upgraded as well. tues - went home early as usual. 7.20a. slept from 11a-3p. watched tv. loaded the laundry in the wash. slept a bit. woke up late for night shift. made cons and ria fuming mad coz we were late for our 9p-6a sales training. training. training. training. when will they end nsi? wed - after shift talked to veen again. she made this new blogger design for me. *hugs*. at night, my sister can't pick me up as usual. my bro prolly late again. cons and ri were late as well. at 10, heard the the corolla honking at the gate. smith driving. ri and cons beaming. they look particularly happy considering we're late. learned they have no plans of going to work on time. half day. we went to eastwood to have a couple of drinks. smith's friend joined us. malcolm, mandy, mccoy-- someone. forgot his name. cons crushing on him. the ever-bubbly cons getting stumped. that was an enjoyable moment.:D went to work at 4am. thurs - i think what i wrote for wed happened thurs. forgot which day was which. anyway today is.. fri - had 4 hours of sleep again. lucky to have at least a few hours of sleep. its a wonder i'm not dozing off on the job. considering i have a blanket wrapped around me. light blue with dolphins and stars. very cold in the office. earlier rob woke me up because yek and the others want to hang out. finally woke up at 6.30p. yek, monique and robin had been waiting for me at starbucks greenbelt 3 since 4p. after a slight confusion (i texted another friend that i could not meet up with her, missent to rob, now rob thought i won't meet them anymore, and monique provided very accurate interpretations, as usual)i finally met them at a little past 8. fun. yek almighty, listen to him. robin has smart amazing phone. he let us watch u2 videos on his mobile. thank you, you're very nice! *green with envy* i'm getting one next week. it's available under a corporate account at plan 800. jonathan's doing ok. has 2 new cell phones. he thought i haven't taken a shower yet. long story. i have a history of being punctual.:D fun, too bad had to leave at 9 coz i had to see the HR person at philam. that's all for now. next week, i'll be moving. 5.31.2003 ~where it's at~ beck reading monique's blogger and can't help but smile.=D ...was that a grin?=D yup, can't wipe my grin off my face now. so yeah.... niq, you're my fan now?
