Probably some nasty drilling. Ew! I was with monique the other day. Ate some crappy food at shakeys and had coffee at seattles. We talked about work, books, lost passion, and nuggets. (Nuggets? Don't ask me, it's a giggle-worthy secret.) She got her sister to buy her coraline. Lend it to me and i'll return it after x years.^_^ She suggested we do something on a weekly basis. She said a routine you're looking forward to (once a week is good enough for twenty-somethings) was something healthy like tennis or jogging or whatever. And i thought it was a good idea, only neither of us played or jogged. *shrugs* Yek wants to watch last samurai tomorrow but i already seen it on dvd. Wonder when troy's gonna be screened. Then again I always plan to revamp. I've yet to see fruits. I'll use my three-week hiatus to do it. Been reading old transcrpits of the angel series because I wanted to know the real answers to the online quiz I made for kindred. Leave it to me not to be able to answer my own quiz! So I was researching how much wolfram and hart paid faith to slay angel when i came across future episode spoilers . Interesting stuff. All about a crazed vampire slayer in town; spike's non-corporeal soul being released.. i suddenly miss watching angel. I know a place you could get whole tv season eppies in dvd format for only four hundred bucks. Then again everybody knows where to find such places. How i love this land of pirates! I wonder how they'd revive spike as spike kissed dust in buffy's final episode and now he's set to make it as a regular in angel investigations.. 01.23.04 Bad day. My card was captured by the atm *expletive deleted* machine! Due to some kinda device *more expletives being deleted* error. '~' Tried to make arrangements with banks to retrieve it but to no avail. Card is now deemed as lost or stolen. So I vented my frustrations in the kitchen and alas! I made the perfect chicken wings earlier. Yum! ^_^ I feel music-trippy. I'm currently listening to everything from the wallflowers's three marlenas and eric clapton's change the world to maxi priest's wild world and ub40's i got you babe. What can i say, i already emptied the archives of crimelibrary. *shrugs* Read about those truly weird and shocking crimes as well as the stories of the most notorious serial killers. I feel like i'm pals with ted bundy and charles manson already. *insane cackle* You wonder how one can insert food and murder stories in one blog entry.. I usually never like to state the obvious but yeah, I'm one bored gal on the brink of lunacy. *doing a runningman dance* 01.22.04 Seen runaway jury on dvd the other day. Plot is very compelling and the scenes well executed. It's a courtroom drama on a case against gun companies. The widow of a prominent shooting victim is suing a big gun manufacturer for selling guns indiscrimately to the black market where criminals buy weapons of assault. Jury member John cusack (along with his girl marlee) is playing the prosecution (dustin hoffman) and defense (gene hackman) lawyers, showing them he holds the jury. I won't spoil it just go watch it. :) Was with veen last night and bumped with elaine and stanley. Good to see that girl again. Haven't seen her since college, i think, or shortly thereafter. Good to hear she'll be working in paseo de roxas, almost near my office. Would be nice to catch up with her antics. Nibbling thru: Sophie's World. 01.17.04 Today i accepted the job offer in ayala. I'll be starting work second week of feb. I'll be handling a financial account. Lots of math. Accounting. The irony is that I'm poor in math. Everbody knows i majored it in college. Majoring math means i had to take algebra three times without ever passing the subject. Less funny is that I really thought i was gonna get thrown to the new aol account. Funny if you just left earthlink. While with the other company i was considering, i was also most likely to be dumped to yahoo. What a cosmic joke. Without meaning to, my options were limited to the top isps in the US that people seemed to hate so much. So i don't know if the financial account is a bad or a good thing. I was supposed to cash advance on my credit card so i could deposit rent to my checking account when i remembered i lost my pin. Bummer. Went to buy the week's groceries at makati square. Still depending on that card i didn't want to use but keep on using. Just practising my knowledge on financial accounting. Or lack thereof. Right now eating a very spicy tomato-cucumber tuna salad mixed in vinegar and extra virgin olive oil with a pinch of salt and pepper. It actually tastes good even if it doesn't sound as such.
