no pressure over cappuccino

Due to extremely high pressure load from fellow bloggies, I am now updating. Unlike Zonkyman here who is temporarily down due to "extremely high server load," *rolls eyes* I am very well rested, rejuvinated and ready for payback. *sneers*

So. What do I wanna bitch about today? Ok Let's have a listidoo!

How do you know if you're overblogging?

You know you're overblogging when...

*You go to work so you can blog in the office.
*You bloghop and learn about other people's lives.
*You bloghop and befriend other bloggers so you can link their site on your growing links section [and vice versa].
*You refer to your chatboard as Mr. Zonkyman here.
*You pressure yourself to regularly update your site even if you have nothing to blog about.   [like you just went straight home and slept all day and we dont wanna be all poetic about oversleeping eh?]
*You pressure other bloggers to update their sites.
*You ask the person sitting next to you if she has replied to your tag on your weblog.
*You take it personally if someone hasn't tagged in a long time.
*You feel more comfortable with your fellow bloggers than your actual friends!
*You scream to your officemate across the floor: "Update! Update! Update!" Because you know, you want to know what's going on with her life through writing.

dekapitated

I've updated the other sections of my site. Vamping up a bit. Changed my mind on Dekap, though. We might not work it out. He loads bit slower than Mr. Zonk. I can't afford that coz I already have DotTk banners loading and Geo ads too. I'll stick with Zonky here. Dekap smilies, I'll enjoy you on Fyro's and Storm's bloggies. Yey!

One of the SMEs was holding a copy of the Death: The Time Of Your Life! I was like, sweet jesus! Give me that! Well, almost. But I just drooled. Hmp. I will collect all Death books. That is my goal. I already ordered three books a few years back. But when Powerbooks finally phoned me that the books were already in the shop, I was dead broke. So I didn't get the precious books. They were sold to somebody else. The Sandman novel is just very inspiring. Every few pages, The Endless will state the most amazing and truest things about life.

sucker for smilies

Got a new Zonkboard. Finally. Thanks Veen. I messed up the codes last night. And being the stubborn git that I am, I'm attempting to edit the codes again so i can install a new Dekap board. Hey, board boasts 150 smilies. Who can resist?

Recieved my regularization papers today. Effective Aug. 17, 2003. Six months here. Wow. Additional benefits:
            * Paid Time-Off
            * Life Insurance Coverage
            * Stock Option Plan Privilege

Cool.

I will create a new weblog. Watch out for it. Gonna be soft and pretty. Like, like, like....:D

what can i say..

Death, the second of The Endless, you are responsible for ending all lives and taking them to your realm, from which no one ever returns. You are bright, positive, happy, optimistic%2
Death, the second of The Endless, you are
responsible for ending all lives and taking
them to your realm, from which no one ever
returns. You are bright, positive, happy,
optimistic and enjoy everything about life, but
that does not mean your silly or stupid. You
can lay the smack down when you have to!
Everyone loves you, and they don't know why.

Which Endless are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

i cheated but death looks pretty here.:D

once upon a time

Once upon a time in the kingdom of Heaven, God was
missing for six days. Eventually, Michael the Archangel found him, resting on the seventh day.

He inquired of God, "Where have you been?"

God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds, "Look, Michael. Look what I've made."

Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?".

"It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put Life on it. I'm going to call it Earth and it's going to be a great place of balance."

"Balance?" inquired Michael, still confused.

God explained, pointing to different parts of earth. "For example, northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth, but cold and harsh while southern Europe is going to be poor but sunny and pleasant."

"I have made some lands abundant in water and other lands parched desert."

"This one will be extremely hot, while this one will be very cold and covered in ice."

The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a group of islands and said, "What's are those?"

"Ah," said God. "That's the Philippines, the most glorious place on earth. There are beautiful beaches, rivers, mountains and forests. The people from the Philippines are going to be handsome, modest, intelligent and humorous and they are going to be found traveling the world. They will be extremely sociable, hardworking and high achieving, and they will be known throughout the world as carriers of peace and love."

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed, "What about balance, God? You said there would be balance."

God replied wisely, "Wait until you see the idiots I'll put in the government."

ingrates :-( ..my little revenge..

make comments constructive. if you want to get something across, say it in a nice way. you know the simplest working motto/advice/mantra in the world: there's always a better way of saying things. naturally, i wouldn't wanna hear three people at the same time lambast my site. i just couldn't take it anymore. some people work hard on creating their websites/bloggers. you don't.

you. don't. even. know. html.

...and i won't even quip that you have the right to your opinion but i just don't wanna hear it. cheers! :-)

night owls and tabula rasa

i always update my blogger in the office. my friends in office are like, "talk to us!" or, "she's blogging." i'm like, "yeah...," "yes," or "u-huh." in short, sometimes, i have my own world.
however, during downtime, my seatmate is always loudly complaining about the smallest things and i can't take it anymore so i told him to shut up and blog instead. he's like, teach me. so i referred him to blog drive and now he's always smiling and updating. i hear less complains and screeches now. he won't even talk to me. he's busy editing the templates. now two more have decided to blog as well and they don't wanna talk anymore except if it concerns html codes.
bastards. :)

oh btw, dont bother asking about titles. i just make them up and randomly assign them to my posts. complaints? violent reactions? good. :p

changed colors. it's ugly. :(

changed it back. :)

In billing training right now. Security is getting tighter every minute here in our client's account. I should have hacked all domain names in the world a couple of months ago when we had access to change any account password in our internal database. Now all I can modify is a freaking email address. )= Still, i can hack credit card info. Pretty happy about that. *but pretty chicken to do it* Later tonight I got AOLsb training. I love them trainings because it gives me time to update my blog.

Interesting...

Your Past Life diagnosis:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know how you feel about it, but you were male in your last earthly incarnation.
You were born somewhere in the territory of modern North China around the year 1375.
Your profession was that of a trainer or holder of fine animals, such as birds..
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your brief psychological profile in your past life:
Revolutionary type. You inspired changes in any sphere - politics,
business, religion, housekeeping. You could have been a leader.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The lesson that your last past life brought to your present incarnation:
Your lesson is to learn humility and faith in spiritual principles. You
should believe in higher reasons.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Do you remember now?

wow...i can easily believe that.

The evul meter
on the other hand....

How evil are you?

that too...
this tests are becoming more and more accurate lately. :D that, or i'm more likely to believe these tests to be accurate lately.

A beautiful place is the little town of Claremont.
The quiet streets are lined by ancient trees.
Down the long avenues of old houses,
pepper trees, sycamores, cedars, oaks and elms,
eucalyptus, palms and jacarandas,
translate sunlight into restful shadows.
Flowers are everywhere, and citrus trees.
Lemons and oranges ornament the gardens.
Students walk by, with their books, to the colleges.
Townspeople walk together to the village.
From parks and schoolyards, children's voices call.
Sunday morning, churches ring their bells.
On a clear day, you can see the mountains,
where children play, in winter, in the snow,
and long trails lead to streams and waterfalls.
Deer and mountain lions roam the mountains.
Rattlesnakes doze for hours in the sun.
Some days the ponds are visited by bears
who stumble home with their bellies full of trout.
Unable to sleep, I leave my house tonight
and sit at the wooden table under the trees.
Now the winds and birds have settled, the night is still.
The owl in the cedar tree begins to bell.
Rose and jasmine burn their sticks of incense.
Moonlight falls on Claremont through the clouds.
I remember Po Chui's poem about the cranes.
In the early dusk, down an alley of green moss,
the garden boy is leading the cranes home.
How strange and powerful, the love of home.
Stranger still, to be alive at all,
to be anywhere, in all its endless detail,
and the millions of tiny locks that will be broken
before you can be released from where you are,
to return again forever to the place,
so many years ago, you started from,
the nothing that is everywhere but here.

Claremont resident, Michael Creagan, won the grand prize of $20,000 at the International Society of Poets Fall Convention and Symposium in Hollywood

Learned about this from dennis's blog.
