Will Smith reveals new album
Will Smith has revealed details of his new album. He will release Lost and Found, on march 29, in the US, his first studio album since he was reportedly dropped by Sony Music three years ago. A single, Switch produced by Kwame who has worked with Mary J Blige and LL Cool J, will precede the album's release. The rapper-actor
describes the CD as "a real departure," from his previous albums. The album,
Smith's first since 2002's Born To Reign features collaborations with Snoop
Dogg, Timbaland, Kanye West, Elephant Man, Park Jin Young, Ludacris, Mary J
Blige and his longtime friend DJ Jazzy Jeff. Smith was reportedly dropped by
Sony Music's Columbia label following poor sales for Born To Reign. Meanwhile,
Smith is set to make a new movie, Pursuit of Happiness, based on the true-life
rags-to-riches story of an investment banker, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Will Smith has become the latest star attached to superhero drama TONIGHT HE COMES, a project which has spent years in pre-production hell.
Vince Gilligan's dark script, about a depressed, bored superhero who drinks, smokes and has one-night stands, has been kicking around Hollywood for five years, where it regularly topped studio executives' lists but never got greenlighted.
TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES director Jonathan Mostow is slated to take charge of the new film, according to movie trade magazine HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.

Rapper and actor Will Smith is set to host Nelson Mandela's Aids benefit concert in George, South Africa next month (MAR05).
The MEN IN BLACK hitmaker, 36, will compere the 46664 gig - a reference to Mandela's prison number during his incarceration in the apartheid era - on 19 March (05), seven months after Smith became an ambassador for Mandela's foundation.
British rockers QUEEN and their new frontman Paul Roger's will join former EURYTHMICS star Annie Lennox and teen singer Katie Melua, as well as local performers Johnny Clegg and MAFIKIZOLO.
Mandela's last 46664 concert in November 2003 entertained a 40,000 strong audience and was viewed by two billion people worldwide through the internet and television.

Will Smith's romantic comedy HITCH is enjoying a second consecutive weekend at the top of the North American box office, after earning $31.8 million (GBP16.7 million).
Smith's movie, which also stars Eva Mendes, beat Keanu Reeves' new sci-fi thriller CONSTANTINE, which opened at a close second with a haul of $30.5 million (GBP16 million).
The family film BECAUSE OF WINN-DIXIE opened at number three with $10.9 million (GBP5.7 million), followed by the kids comedy SON OF THE MASK with $7.7 million (GBP4 million).
Clint Eastwood's OSCAR-nominated film MILLION DOLLAR BABY rounded out the top five with earnings of $7.2 million (GBP3.7 million).

Hollywood actor Will Smith attended three separate British premieres of his new movie HITCH - in just one day.
Completing the journey in a private jet, the 36-year-old actor says his tour has set a red-carpet record for movie premieres in Britain, earning him a place in the GUINNESS BOOK OF WORLD RECORDS.
Smith attended premieres in Manchester, northern England, and Birmingham, central England, yesterday afternoon (22FEB05), before walking the red carpet in London's Leicester Square that evening.
He said, "I've had a beautiful day."
Smith, who plays a professional "date doctor" in the romantic comedy, was joined at the London premiere by co-stars Amber Valletta and Eva Mendes.

The GETTIN' JIGGY WIT' IT star's confidence with opposite sex took a major knock when pupil Charlene Brown maliciously warned him to think again if he was planning to ask her out on a date - in the presence of all his peers at Philadelphia's Overbrook High School.
He says, "I had a crush on her for ages. One day in assembly, I yelled, 'Hey Charlene, how are you feeling?' She screamed back, 'Too good for you.'
"Everybody heard. That put me off talking to girls for a very long time."

Hollywood hardman Bruce Willis was so distraught following his divorce from Demi Moore in 2000 he feared for his own safety - until close friend WILL SMITH came to the rescue.
The DIE HARD actor blamed himself for the failure of his 13 year marriage, but Smith advised his friend to focus on his children Rumer, Scout and Tallulah and put his heartbreak behind him.
Willis, 49, says, "I kept blaming myself. I couldn't believe it had happened to us. I started talking to Will who is a very close personal friend, and he saved my life.
"He told me that you have to put the kids first, and even if it's awkward you have to get together with the new girlfriend or spouse - whoever it is. It was just great advice."

Jada Pinkett Smith is reportedly in talks to turn husband Will Smith's cult action movie BAD BOYS into an all-female affair with pal Queen Latifah.
The two leading ladies are working on a remake of Smith's comedy with Martin Lawrence - and they plan to call it BAD GIRLS.
Latifah tells magazine JAM! MOVIES, "Jada really wants to do the movie because we both know it's a great concept."
The pair first worked together on the big screen in all-girl heist movie SET IF OFF.

Will Smith and Jon Voight are teaming up to bring an Italian children's film festival to Hollywood.
The odd couple are huge fans of the annual Giffoni Festival and they're planning to champion a sister event in Los Angeles next month (APR05).
In a statement released on Friday (25MAR05), Smith said, "We're lending our support because of its focus on young people. The festival will provide a forum for young film enthusiasts and open the doors to Hollywood for a new generation."
The festival's judges and jury will be made up of youngsters between the ages of nine and 17 from all over the world.
Voight adds, "I've been working to bring this festival over to Hollywood for years, and I couldn't be more excited to see it finally taking place.
"The first time I had the privilege of participating in the festival I was captivated by the honesty, passion and energy that the kids bring to the cinematic experience."

Will Smith's 12-year-old son Trey has signed up for a prestigious job, as a special TV correspondent at the NICKELODEON KIDS' CHOICE AWARDS.
The youngster will show off his interviewing skills for American entertainment news show ACCESS HOLLYWOOD at the awards event, which will take place on Saturday (02APR05) in Los Angeles
Trey's coverage, which will include interviewing celebrities on the red carpet and getting reactions from this year's winners, will also include a "special surprise" for his rapper-actor father at the awards ceremony.
