Lois Lowry was born in Hawaii on march 20th 1937 . She has a older sister helen and a younger brother Jon. Robert and Katharine Hammersberg are her parents. Lois Lowry is 66 years old.
As a small girl she grew up in many places. Born in Hawaii moved to New York. She lived there during the World War 2.at the age of 11 she went to tokeyo. Her High School was back in new York city. She attended Brown University in Rhode Island. She Quit University to be with her husband and 4 children. She returned to college to receive her degree from the University of Southern Maine.
When her child was all grown up she took up her dream and became a professional writer. At the age of 33 (1970) she begun her writing.7 years later her marriage ended at the age of 40. She moved to West Cambridge continuing to write with her dog Bandit. She had all the passion for writing at her farmhouse where she spent all her weekends.Overall reading lois lowrys book was pretty bad for me cause it made me do all this work but the book was prety good.
