Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai

My name is Fred and this is a spankin new site dedicated to my recently aquired '94 Jeep YJ Wrangler. Please czech bach frequently for updates. I will post upgrades to my jeep as I complete them. I'll eventually split each upgrade into its own link from this page

March 2000:  '94 Jeep YJ Wrangler.
Stock except for:
   - 31"x10.5" Firestone Wilderness AT's on black rims
   - Tuffy console
   - Wicked stereo
   - Cobra CB
   - Alarm system
Has the 2.5L 4 banger with an auto tranny and will
probably stay that way for quite a while.

April 2000:
Installed a set of Steel
Horse 6" flares. Out of
the box, they come with
no holes so you'll have
to mark carefully and drill
your own. They sent me
two left rear flares; see
picture.>>>

<<< Why I needed flares. The rims are
offset more than the stock ones.

May 2000:
Drove from WA to AZ; blew the water pump in Cottage Grove, OR.   1,700 miles
total from Fort Lewis, WA to Fort Huachuca, AZ with an average mileage of 14mpg
and tank refills roughly every 150 miles. Not very good.
Put the soft top down the first day here, since the temps are in the 90's, and put on a
bikini top. Offroading in the Huachuca Mountains is a blast! Trails are mostly loose
broken rock and get quite steep. Got stuck for 2 hours in Blacktail Canyon after biting
off more than I could chew with a stock suspension. Thank god I had a jack.
I'll post some pics soon as the film is developed.

Future planned "mild" upgrades as paychecks allow:
  - Rancho 2.5" suspension lift with RS5000 shocks (any higher and I'll get driveshaft vibration)
  - JKS 1.25" body lift (on order)
  - Sway bar quick disconnects
  - Garvin Expedition Rack (roof rack hinged at bumper and attaches to windshield)
  - KC Daylighters (on order) on windshield hinge brackets
  - ARB Air Locker in rear (boy do I need this!)
  - Hi-Lift jack
