SA Coat of Arms
I hope you will enjoy looking at these pix of my home town.
It's a  city, of  many beautiful old buildings and lots of  parks and gardens.
SA Coat of Arms
The original city plans drawn up by Colonel William Light in 1836, laid out a city bordered by 4 terraces, each 1 mile long.  Included in the plans was the  provision of  parks and gardens along these terraces, as well as gardens  in each quarter of the city and a central square, now called Victoria Square.

It was built along the banks of the Torrens River, which was eventually dammed to form Torrens Lake. Across the river is North Adelaide.
As the city has grown, it's  character & charm has been retained by keeping many of it's old Victorian style buildings.
