1-Course description :This course  is designed  for  beginners .In this course students will use their textbooks, workbooks, ready made posters and those made by students    themselves and games to emphasis their learning skils: Reading- Listening- Speaking and Writing. They will listen to French tapes, and also to begin to lean about France and its people
2-Course  objectives :
� To introduce the new language in a purposeful context using the above skills.
� To help students  to begin building French Vocabulary.To help  students  to  begin  building  French  Grammar  base .
� To  start  to practice  the French pronunciation through  listening  and  speaking .
� Students  learn how  to communicate  in  French across the curriculum

1-Course description :This course is designed is designed for students who have completed the first part of the program or the equivalent. This course continues to emphasis understanding and speaking basic French. Special emphasis is placed on vocabulary building, grammar and pronunciation through listening and spealing. Students will continue to learn the historical and cultural aspect of France
and French Civilization.
2-Course  objectives :
� Student continues to build French vocabulary, Student continues to build French grammar base
� Student continues to emphasis understanding basic frech and pronunciation sp through listening and speaking
� Student continues to learn how to write short paragraphs, dialogues�

1-Course description : This course is designed for students who completed French 1 and 2.The will use their text books, workbook. The course emphasis on vocabulary building ,grammar and pronunciation through listening and speaking
2-Course  objectives :
� To help students to build their French vocabulary and grammar skills
� To help students to continue to emphasis understanding speaking basic
Basic French and pronunciation
� To continue to practice on comprehension and writing composition

                                                                IB prep Year 1 (G.9)
1-Course description : The  IB Prep Year 1 is a foreign language program designed for student with at least 2or 3 years previous experience of learning French. This course recognizes the function of the language B both as a tool for comminication, and as a gateway to the understanding of another culture.
2-Course  objectives :The IB Prep Y1. Students are expected to fulfil the following:
� To build up their vocabulary and grammar skills
� To develop their ability to use the language effectively for communication
� To focus on writing compositions on different topics
� To focus on comprehension by listening the French people speaking ,To develop their ability to speak about different topics

1-Course description : T
his course is designed the students who completed French 1, 2 and 3. They will use their text books, worksheets newspaper, reading books to emphasis their learning skills: speaking, listening, writing and reading comprehension..
they continue to learn about French culture.
2-Course  objectives :
� To help students to attain proficiency in the four language skills
� To focus on oral communication, To continue to build up strong vocabulary and grammar

                                                              IB Prep Year 2 (G.10)
1-Course description :The IB Prep Year 2 is a foreign language program designed for students who started already the first year of IB Prep with at least 3 years previous experience of learning French. This course consist on reinforcing the 4 skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing and recognizes the function of the language B both as a tool for communication and as  a gateway to understanding of another culture.
2-Course  objectives :
� To develop the ability to communicate accurately in speech and in writing within a range of contexts
� Develop the ability to understand and respond to the language demands
� Provide students with a sound linguistic base for further study, work and leisure
� Offer insights the culture of the country where the language is spoken, Reading about French writers
� To work on authentic material

1-Course description :This course is designed for advanced students. Special emphasis is placed o oral presentations, writing compositions and literature.
2-Course  objectives :

� To practice reading through texts�, To learn about French literature
3-Material : Connaissance + Illumination: pupil books, worksheets, cassettes

1-Course description : IB students will focus on developing their French language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to meet IB requirements. A full range of texts will be used, and a varied range of classroom activities will take place. By the end of the school year, students will be expected to have acquired a good knowledge of French and to be familiar with the French-speaking world.
2-Course  objectives :
� Revision of grammar and conjugation ,  Consolidation of vocabulary and knowledge
� French civilization ,French literature and French language ,Oral discussion of texts
� Written essay , Comprehension of texts
� Introduction to the oral presentation ,Discussion on current events and topical subjects taken from the news
� Training in both I.B. exams (paper 1, paper 2)
