| Share a Love, Share a Toy Children share their old toys with the less fortunate. This activity is celebrated on Love Day (Feb. 14). Bundles of Joy Children bring old clothes, food and canned goods for distribution to unfortunate families. This activity is celebrated during the Christmas season. |
| Rhythmics Children develop their gross motor skills, body part coordination and creativity as they move to the music. Interaction with others and following instructions are enhanced as well. Scheduled every 1st Thursday of the month. Cooking Children prepare their own food for the day. Math concepts, following instructions, self-help skills and the value of sharing are given emphasis. Scheduled every last week of the month. Field Trips Children are exposed to different places to have a feel of what is being discussed in the classroom. Venues are chosen depending on the month's unit study. |
