The Fremont Community Players announce a world premier production of...

Come join the Fremont Community Players as they present the first-ever staging of Joseph Dougherty's "Handwritten Theatre." The individual humorous and dramatic pieces are taken from Dougherty's podcasts from his website of the same name.

Dougherty received Drama Desk and Critics Outer Circle nominations for his play "Digby" producted at the Manhattan Theatre Club, as well as writing the libretto for the Tony-winning musical "My Favorite Year" presented at Lincoln Center. He won both an Emmy and Humanitas Prize for his work on the television series "thirtysomething" and has written several movies for HBO. He has also contriuted to other series including "Once and Again and "Judging Amy."
