From pushing back the solid gate, there is something solid and well made about the old house ( 1890 ). 15 Douro RoadIts a classic, colonial style weatherboard bungalow with thick plank floorboards, 15 4 poster bedcurved iron roof, turned verandah posts and original features strictly adhered to. But inside, the house is subtly endowed with comfortable features. Some of these include big deep jacuzzis, brass shower heads, huge beds ( several four posters ) and an interesting display of furniture.
There is a big wooden slatted table for sociable meals.

The old house is complimented by its beautiful cottage gardens.

South Beach
Fremantle MarketsWith a free Cat bus every 10 minutes that takes you into the heart of Fremantle, 15 Douro is also within handy walking distance to the beach and a number of local restaurants offering international and local cuisines.

An airport shuttle service is available along with bicycle hire. Capuccino is on the menu at most restaurants and you are only 5 minutes to Fremantle's well known Capuccino Strip and the famous Fremantle Markets. Not far from the Markets you will find the Maritime Museum. Capuccino Strip
