| Natural Disasters Part 2
Title: Nature's Disaster Pt 2; A storm is brewing. Disclaimer: I own nothing, not even me. Just a little piece for you enjoyment, until my muse remembers the next part of the story. Warning: A few good bad words. Silence filled the air, but was disturbed by someone pounding on the door. I was still in the bathroom, trying to pee and listen at the same time. When I heard Jade's frantic voice slide under the door like mist, "What are we going to do?" "Let me give you a suggestion. Open the door and let the man in. You're going to have to tell him sooner or later," said Tam, who's voice came through the door like a soft breeze. "Let him in Jade," said Tamika. "Where is she?" Richard commanded. "Not so loud Richard, we are in a hospital," Tam advised. "Oh hey Tamara." He said. "Hey yourself," she replied. "Now are you two going to tell me, where she is?" I heard Richard ask. "She's in the Bathroom Richard," Tamika answered with a sigh. "Oh. So what are you doing here Tamara?" he questioned. "I came by to see how Crystal was doing," she returned. "So you knew about this," I heard him say. "Yes," Tam answered. "Was I the only one who wasn't told?" He inquired. "Nope, a lot of people don't know. The only ones who do know are Anita, Maximus, Marius, and the people standing in this room," came Jade's answer. At this point I had finished using the bathroom and was getting ready to step back into the room. I took a deep breath, before opening the door. I grabbed hold of the door, opened it, and stepped out into the room. Everyone turned in my direction, as I walked out. I tried to smile, but knew it didn't do any good. They were all standing up against the walls and staring at me. Jade, Tamika, and Tam were near the bathroom door and the guys were at the entrance. "Hey Tam, Richard, Jamil, Shang-Da," I said slowly walking back toward the bed. "Hey girl. How are you feeling?" Tam asked. "I'm making it," I said. "Well got to go or I'll be late for work," she said. "Ok. You be careful on the way home," I told her. She smiled and said, "Always." Then walks out saying good-byes to the rest of the gang. With Tamika and Jade's help, I was able to make it back into bed. Once they finished tucking me in, Richard came over and sat down beside me. I slowly scooted over to give him some room. He sat there, glared at me, while saying nothing. But his thoughts were all in his face, he was furious that he wasn't informed about my condition. He turned toward the others and commanded strongely, "Everyone out. I want to talk to Crystal alone." Jamil and Shang-Da immediately left, but the girls wouldn't budge. He turned on them and said, "That means you two as well." They looked over at me and I nodded my head. They left without saying a word and went to stand outside the room. As soon as they were gone and the door was closed, he turned to face me once more. His face was no longer harsh, it was soft, kind, worried for my sake. "Why didn't someone tell me, where you were? I was worried sick when you didn't come home last night." I tilted my head at him and said, "I over heard Tamika tell Tam, that she told you I had been called out of town on a case." "She didn't tell me anything," he replied. "Oh really," I replied, with an arched eyebrow. Richard looked at me for a moment, then got up and went out into the hall for a few seconds. I heard some loud voices and knew Tamika was getting into trouble. Richard came back in and walked around to the other side of the bed. He climbed in, laying down beside me, stretching out like a big puppy dog. "So what did she say, when you asked her?" I questioned, while he wrapped himself around me. "She said, she left a message on the answering machine, telling me that you were called out of town," He answered. "You didn't get it," I asked. "No, I didn't," he replied, then he went cold. "Damn his ass. I should have known he was doing something, when I caught him playing with the phone." "Who," I inquired. "Who else," He smirked. "Don't tell me Jean-Claude was over there last night," I moaned. "Sure was. Came over to talk about the baby situation," he informed me. "Oh that's just great," I croaked. "Don't think I'm letting you off that easy. Tamika or Jade should have come to me personally and with the truth," he stated. "I know you should have been informed, but Richard you have a lot of problems on you shoulders already. I didn't want to be added to it, besides you're getting things worked out between yourself and Anita. I didn't want to come between that, no matter how much it would hurt losing you," I stated. "Oh sweetheart, is that what you think, that Anita's running back to me because she's not talking to Jean-Claude. We are trying to work out our differences, so our triumverate won't be so weak, nothing more. She's got Micah and I got you, we would never think about hurting you two like that. Now come on, don't you think your just being a little bit paranoid," he remarked. I looked up at him, then ducked my head to hide it in his chest. "I'm sorry," I said on the verge of tears. He wrapped his right leg around me, pulling me into his arms. "Crystal, there's nothing to be sorry for. I love you and only you. My time with Anita is over, we both must move on," he whispered while nuzzling my hair. He pulled back and lifted my chin, so I could meet his eyes. Then he bent down and softly ran his lips over mine. He pulled back and rubbed his nose against mine, while running the palm of his hand along my jaw. Richard came in for a full kiss this time. At first it was soft and gentle, then more demanding. He wanted inside my mouth and I opened it to allow him access. We explored each others mouths, causing us to groan in content. He lightly lowered me onto my back with one leg still wrapped around me. He gently lowering himself on top of me and I could feel him through his jeans. He started to kiss me deeper, while his right hand went under my gown to cup my breast. He tangled his other hand into my hair. A deep growl escaped his throat and he started kissing me along the jaw line continuing down over my neck. He moved over so he could straddle me, while he sucked on my neck. His other hand made its way under my gown running his thumbs over my nipples. It caused me to arch my back towards him, groaning in pleasure. He started to nibble on my ear, then returned to my lips plunging his tongue deep into my mouth. I had grabbed his hair and pulled him closer, when I heard someone cleared their throat. We both jumped, turned and glanced over to find not just my father, but my grandfather standing there. Richard groaned this time in disgust and I glared at them. "Are we interrupting anything?" My father teased. "Don't you two know how to knock?" I asked. "Sorry dear. We didn't know you had company," smirked my grandfather. "Is there a particular reason why you are here?" Asked Richard, who was just annoyed with them as I was. "Yes, we have some disturbing news. We found out why you were hurt," my father said looking at me. That got both Richards and mine attention. "Well we're waiting," I said. They both glared at me, then my grandfather began, "It seems that there were two wolf packs in London. There was an outside pack who came into the city and challenged the other one. The outside pack was the strongest of the two and wiped out most of the city pack, including Brimestone. That's why you were hurt badly, you were experiancing his death. If your marks were not closed off to him, you would have died with him," Richard jumped off the bed in a heap of rage. He tried to stay calm when he asked my father, "Are you telling me that another pack moved into the London area, killed the other pack along with that bastard, breaking off the bond between them. That if she hadn't closed the marks, she would have died also." My father glanced over at Richard and answered, "I'm afraid so, but that's not all. We believe that one or two of the other council members might be involved in this, but we are not for sure." "How can they be involved? They are in Orlando right now," Richard asked, anger showing on his face. "I don't know Richard. You put two and two together and tell me. Don't forget I'm also council and do have inside sources to the other members," reported my grandfather. My father looked at me and stated, "Crystal, I'm going to be out of town for a while helping father with this. I want you and Richard to stay at the house, where you will be protected in case another attack comes. Do you understand how serious this might be?" "Yes I understand," I answered. "Good. We'll be going know, thought we come by to see how you were doing and tell you what we found out. With that said we'll leave you two alone," replied my father, then disappearing into thin air with my grandfather right behind him. Richard and I stared at each other for a while, before he climbed back into bed with me. We talked about everything into the early hours of the morning, when we fell asleep in each other's arms. |
