Sunday came and went as it all ways does, when your with family.

Richard and I spent part of the day hiking through the mountains,

doing a little skiing, and finished up our Christmas shopping in town.

The last part of the day we split it up between seeing his family at

his mother's house, then spending the later part of the night with

Verne, Roxanne, and the pack. Their pack structure was so different

from ours and Marianne was more interested in me then the meeting that

was taking place. She was teaching me knew potions and spells of

healing, while I showed her some things she didn't know. We worked

well together. She taught me how to ride the power, how to control and

use the munin, which I've never been taught how to do. Marianne was

also patient. Not like my family, who if you do things wrong, wind up

going off the deep end. We stayed way past midnight, before we went

back to the cabins.

Now it was Monday night, showing the world that my snuggle puppy and I

got some needed sleep. While Richard was outside talking to Verne

about something, that he wouldn't tell me about. I'd been doing some

snooping around and found out he's planning something for my big day

on Friday. Friday was my birthday and I'll be 27. He left Shang-Da

with me and took Jamil with him. Shang-Da was lounging around the

cabin, flipping through channels, whining at the same time about his

relationship with Luna. I just rolled my eyes and headed for the

dresser. I can contact my friends threw the mirror portals as long as

they are near a mirror themselves. I rubbed the mirror with the palm

of my hand and said, "Mirror to the outside world, open for me and

take me to Conor's place." Soon a mirror portal opened up at his

apartment, showing me that he wasn't alone. Luna had arrived earlier

and was lying on the couch getting a back rub from Conor.

I shook my head, looked over at Shang-Da, who was distracted by the

TV, and was glad. If he saw what I was looking at, he would have gone

off the deep end. He already thinks she's screwing around on him, due

to those bitches at the club. I'm sure Paris had a hand in it, but you

can't get him to talk about how he feels. Always listens to others

rather than his heart, which gets him into a lot of trouble if you ask

me. I just sighed and glanced back toward Conor's room with a smile.

"Hey guys, how's it going?" I asked, causing them both to glance my way."

"Hello mistress," replied Conor, which made me smile.

"Hey girl," said Luna, with closed eyes as Conor continues his massaging.

We were talking and having a fun time, until Shang-Da lost interest in

the TV and got interested in whom I was talking to. I was laughing at

my friends and didn't notice he had come up behind me, until I felt

his power roll over my skin. I turned around and there he was, looking

like someone whom had there territory invaded. I closed up the window

real quick and tried to talk to him.

"Shang-Da, calm down before you do something you'll regret," I said.

He glared at me and replied, "Why the hell did you just do that?"

"Why did I do what?" I asked.

"Don't play stupid with me Alex. You purposely closed that damn thing

to keep me from seeing what's going on with my girl, behind my back,"

He stated with anger coming into his voice.

I glanced at the mirror then at Shang-Da, not knowing what to say to

him. Hoping that what ever comes out of my mouth won't set him off.

"Listen Shang-Da, whatever you saw might not what it looks like. You

have to trust your heart and not what other people tell you," I said

trying to convince him that it was all innocent and not what he

thought it was.

Shang-Da glared at me, while taking a step forward, blocking any

escape I might have before his stop blows. "Oh really, then why is it

every time I see her, that elf is hanging all over her. What am I

suppose to believe, when the evidence is staring me right in the face.

Now open that damn thing up and let me talk to her," he commanded,

trapping me between himself and the dresser.

"Not until you calm down. You can't talk to her this way or you'll

lose her for good," I told him, standing my ground.

Nothing in the world could have prepared me for what happened next. I

found myself flying across the room, screaming as I did so, right

before I hit the wall, nearly going threw it. My head was aching from

the impact and I started seeing double. The room began to spin and my

stomach started to come up. I with great effort I crawled to the

bathroom, just before the cabin door slammed open. Richard and Jamil

came flying threw the door, trapping me into the bathroom. I didn't

care cause at that moment, my stomach and half my insides started

coming up. There was angry voices coming from the other room as I laid

my head on the side of the toilet. As soon as the world settled down,

I slowly got to my feet and walked into the bedroom. Richard and Jamil

was pulling a ill-tempered Shang-Da out of the cabin, kicking and

yelling at the top of his lungs in his native language.

I went back to the mirror, opened it up to find that Luna had her own

problems. Damien had showed up to tell that Anita and Jean-Claude

wanted to see her right away. She was highly upset and so was Conor. I

couldn't catch the entire situation, cause my head was still pounding

and my eyes? were crossing. Luna felt my presence and glanced over at

the mirror.

"Are you all right Alex," she asked, ignoring Damien.

"I will be, but I thought you might want to know that Shang-Da saw

Conor giving you a massage. He then went ape-shit and threw me into

the wall, when I refused to let him talk to you. Mostly due to the

fact he was a little unstable if you know what I mean," I stated,

trying to figure out which three of Luna's was the real one.

She rolled her eyes and replied, "Ah shit. It's not like I don?t have

enough problems. Now I've got to worry about what Shang-Da thinks

about what he saw."

As I watched she went back to talking to Damien, just as Richard

walked threw the door with the pack's doctor. Richard made me close

the window after saying goodnight to Luna and sat me down on the bed.

The doctor looked over me, putting me threw some serious tests. He

finally came to the conclusion that I did have a concussion and that

changing wouldn't help any. That this is something that needs to be

healed on it's own. He told Richard that I would need to stay awake

for twenty-four hours, just to make sure there's no serious damage

done. He wouldn't give me any medication for the headache, saying that

they would only put me to sleep and he didn?t think it was a good

idea. Richard shook his head in understanding and spent the next

twenty-four hours babying me. He did everything from taking me out

walking to having sex, trying to keep me awake. Once this is over and

I'm feeling better, Shang-Da is going to feel my foot up his ass for

doing this. I know he's upset, but this is so unlike him. He only

hears what he wants to hear instead of listening with his heart. I do

know when we get back to St. Louis, four bitches are going to get a

big surprise. I'm tired of playing games, with them. They are going to

learn their place once and for all.
