Like anything else in life, they range from reputable corporations to back-alley hooligans with a throwaway cell phone. With profit margins stretched razor thin in the industry, these freight predators can often times mean the difference between success or failure of transportation companies, in the age of their receivables and whether they're collectable, period. There are the freight poachers who want fast and detailed service, and pay next to nothing; then there are those who collect the revenue from the shipper/receiver and don't pay the transporter.
