A saiyajin legend
In the world of Dragonball Z there was a planet in which
two groups lived. One group was an advanced race that built huge cities and invented marvelous technologies. The other race
was called the saiyajin. They were savages to the core. They had no friends and needed
no friends. But the worse thing of all...they had am insatiable lust for fighting. This brought the two groups into conflict with each
other. For generations they fought nether side winning. The battles all turned out to a draw. The advanced race were weak by
themselves but by their great numbers and technology..they managed to give the saiyajin a good fight. The saiyajin were few in
numbers but were very strong. It would take at least ten people to beat one. But on the night of a full moon..a group of saiyajin
managed to organize all the other groups in order to attack all at once. They did this but were held at bay buy the more
technologically advanced civilization until they looked at the full moon. Doin this the saiyajin turned into a form called Oozaru.
This "Oozaru" form can be best described as a were-monkey type of being. Just imagine King Kong. This form increased their
by power ten fold. This gave them the edge to destroy their enemy. But what were they supposed to do now. They had no
more enemies to fight and quench their lust for blood. They started to fight amongst themselves until a mysterious race passed
by the saiyajin's planet. The mysterious beings were in need of a planet to live on. They offered the saiyajins space pods to go
out and conquer their planet for them. They did this and the saiyajin realized that with this type of technology that let them travel
to different places, they could fight forever. The saiyajin became sort of planet brokers. They recevieved orders for planets.
With every order, they sent a saiyajin to wipe out the planet's inhabitants. With weak inhabitants they sent weak saiyajin which
were normally kids...with stronger inhabitants they usually sent adults to fight. One generation a phenomenon occured. A being
known as the super saiyajin was born into the saiyajin race. His power was unimagineable. But he could only sustain the super
saiyajin in Oozaru form. The bad thing was that he could not control himself. One day he destroyed the planet he was on killing
himself also. The people of the saiyajin waited for the next one to appear. During this time they named their planet Vegeta after
their king. The king had a son who's power level that soared way above that of a normal saiyajin. His father named him Vegeta
after himself. Everyone expected him to become the legendary super saiyajin. This is where Dragonball Z picks up with Vegeta,
Radditz, and Nappa going off to fight Goku.
The 5 stages of a Saiyajin
The first stage of a Saiyajin is the primary stage that all Saiyajin are born into. They
almost all have black hair. Trunks is the only saiyajin in Dragonball Z that does not have black hair because he's a cross
bred between Vegeta and Bulma. The power level of an adult saiyajin on an average is about 1000. The elite range from about
5000 to 20,000. The highest power level a saiyajin obtained was about 500,000 in the primary stage. This was Vegeta. The
next stage a saiyajin can attain is called Super Saiyajin. This stage changes the person�s physical appearance as well as their
strength and speed. The most dominant features of a Super Saiyajin are golden color hair and green eyes. They have a
tremendous boost in strength and speed. What I think is the coolest about this form is the golden aura that surrounds the
saiyajin. The first person the ever achieve this stage was Goku while he was fighting Freeza.The change into the Super saiyajin
form is usually triggered by a deep emotion like rage or desire. Goku was able to transform into this form because he saw the
death of his friend Kryllin right before his eyes. Vegeta was able to transform because he sought to excel Goku so bad and
could not do it. One day he became so angry at himself that he turned super saiyajin. Gohan achieved this stage by his desire to
defeat Cell by training in the Room of Space and Time. The next level of being that the saiyajin can achieve is called super
saiyajin 2. This form is an advancement of the first super saiyajin stage. Their power increases but their speed remains the same.
The first person ever to attain this stage is Gohan.
It is true that Vegeta did get more powerful while training but did not ever enter super saiyajin 2 stage. Vegeta only
attained super saiyajin 2 when he received the power up from Babi-Di during the Buu saga. The next level is super saiyajin 3.
There are only two people that achieved this during Dragonball Z. These two were Vegeta and Goku. There is not really much
two say about it except that the hair grows out super long and they get a LOT more powerful. Also when the saiyajin
transforms into Ozaruu form during super saiyajin 3 mode the monkey is has golden hair. The last level for a saiyajin is super
saiyajin 4 mode. Vegeta and Goku achieved this during Dragonball GT. Their hair turns dark again, their tale grows out, and
they have red hair on their chest.
