| Horizon A halogen van coughs into the sunset Passing a resevoir of the depth of time A wet dream of truth we're not meant to forget Don't let it leave me behind Burst into the flames of the sun and combust Faceless skulls that grin; talking heads with no minds Throw yourself into the fragrant dust Don't let it leave me behind The vessel of the crimson sky Following the rainbow of infinity We delve into the soft fruits of forbidden and destined territory Eyes like the galaxy; fingernails of nothingness encompassed in that glassy gaze seeing prisms and comets and holograms hearing nothing wave to her as she slips downstream a river of sympathetic porcupines I see the one in the lake of your soul I could dive into its entrancing shine Ripples in the divine black hole Don't let it leave me behind The suns lays a halcyon hand on me I succumb to its gentle press It lays me back into the sea I have no one to thank but she Don't let her forget. Signed -- Don't let it leave me behind The vessel of the crimson sky Following the rainbow to infinity Don't let them tell you otherwise Flow into me; there's something I'd like you to see... |

| This poem is absolutely inspired by the fantastical lyrics of the now defunct but eternally satisfying Meat Puppets. | ||||||||||
