Name: Doc 1.44
Author: Rick Bram Description: This is the original Doc reader for the Palm (Pilot). This set the standard for Palm Docs and established the format specifications (I think). Rights to Doc were purchased by Aportis who also have a freeware (crippleware) version of it named AportisDoc. Check it out if you want but in my opinion this one is better. |

Name: CSpotRun 1.1
Author: Bill Clagett Description: This is probably the best freeware Doc reader out there. It has pretty much all of the features you'd look for in a Doc reader and performs better than most commercial alternatives. It's GPL software so you can even get the source and improve it if you're so inclined. Very highly recommended. |

Name: ToGo 1.31
Author: Darren Chi Description: iSilo acquired rights to the ToGo document format for their readers iSilo and iSilo Free. Or maybe Darren Chi started iSilo, I don't know. All I do know is that this reader will read iSilo files and will not read standard Palm doc files. I like it though and it's really small so you can have it on your palm in conjunction with a standard Palm Doc reader. CAUTION: Will not co-exist with iSilo! |

Name: iSilo Free 1.5
Author: DC & Co. Description: DC must stand for Darren Chi so I guess he did start iSilo. Anyway, this is the successor to ToGo and will read both ToGo (iSilo) documents and regular Palm doc files and it's pretty small. I think it's the best freeware reader but I bought the regular iSilo reader because it does a lot more stuff. |

Name: ReadThemAll 1.61
Author: Max Vlasov Description: I really like the concept behind this reader but it takes some getting used to and tinkering with the settings to get it comfortable for automatic reading. "It uses a unique "never-ending page" scroll that differs from the standard auto-scroll found in other document readers. Although it is designed primarily for hands-free reading, it can also be used as a general-purpose reader." |
