As if being a teenager wasn't challenging enough. Questoning your sexuality is often extremely confusing and can leave you feeling very alone. "I have so many questions, who can I ask? Is this normal? Am I the only one? What do I tell my parents? What are my friends going to think? Why me?"
S.A.Y. is a group for open-minded youth. It offers a safe place for queer and questioning teens to connect with one another, seek support, develop new friendships, express themselves, learn about the LGBT community and most importantly have fun.
S.A.Y. hosts weekly supportive meetings to discuss life's challenges and benefits. Through these meetings lasting friendships have been formed. Some of our activities include: movie nights, field trips, dances, games, fund raisers, evetns, gossip and a lot of laughter! We provide info about other communiry events as well!
Some issues we have discussed.... dating, relationships, coming out, education, homophobia, the future, family, drugs, alcohol, mental health issues, AIDS.
