Gay Freethinkers is a non-religious, non-profit discussion based social group and uses no reference text or expert opinion. The group started in September 1999, and aims to promote freethinking, goodwill and genuine friendships within Sydney's gay community.

The group is open to gay/gay-friendly men of all ages.
