| GIVING AND RECEIVING A significant experience just came to my life as I presence a ceremony and concert at the Maranatha Chapel. As a free thinker I was open and willing to learn and it is true, worshiping Jesus is an exiting experience. You can feel the energy in the group and it is refreshing and fulfilling. The presence of the illuminated was unquestionable and the faith flowed from side to side of the temple passing through our physical presence. Something really fascinating. A band played different songs some soft some rock and roll in the name of Jesus and the words were, for sure, product of that profound contact that the band has with him. I remember that in many occasions this profound feeling came to me during other ceremonies in different churches from different denominations and they are, at the end of the story, celebrations and prays to the god we all love and believe in. The manifestation and the channels may be different but the purpose is the same. Love, faith and sharing of good feelings. You could see in the faces of all those present the need for the support of Jesus to continue in their lives and I am sure they get the support they need from him because that was and it is the purpose of his presence in the world. The soul advancement is like time, it won't stop. It will take different paths and will repeat chapters as when we read a book. But it won't stop. Jesus presence is magnificent and divine. God choused him after a tremendous development to guide part of the human race and we do not know if other races in other worlds. The presence of God in that chapel reminded me my experience with SUBUD. Subud is an Indonesian group that is non-religious where I practice the "latihan", a receiving attitude exercise that purifies and heals internally and externally. I even felt the call to do it again and at this point. I will continue applying the "latihan" to meditate and receive from GOD. Definitely, it is the practice of Giving and Receiving what it is important in our life. God contacts us and influences us if we allow this to happen. We also need to talk to him in our own way. It is also important to appreciate the giving and receiving that we practice with each other that also heals and shapes our soul. Tell people you love them, tell your parents you are grateful, tell a kid you care, tell your self you are here to love everything you do and that all of that will be in accordance of the natural balance created by God. The freedom that we have spiritually, provided by our God, allow us to Give and Received from him and from our brothers and sisters now in this earth. 3/14/02 9:24 PM |
