Of Moving Colors is the company I dance with in Baton Rouge. Although I am currently away at college, this is the company of my heart and I have continued to dance with them throughout the past three years. "Of Moving Colors Productions produces original and innovative work capitalizing on a broad diversity of art forms and talent. OMC incorporates dance, visual arts, literature, and music into performances for the public that educate and stimulate.
Our performances reflect a wide range of artistic mediums and cultural backgrounds. Our audience has the rich experience of seeing a singular theme expressed simultaneously through different forms. Our events provide artists a forum to perform." Check out the
OMC homepage.
Pilobolus is one of my most favorite dance companies. It is a contact improv based company. Their choreography is move inovation and stunning. It is a company deeply committed to collaborative effort, with four artistic directors and six dancers, working together, building the dances.
Parsons' Dance Company was hosted by the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre early this year. Their dance was amazing and inovative, and I was honored to participate in two master classes, one with LSU and the other with Of Moving Colors.

There was a piece, a solo, called "Caught" which was the most amazing visual experience I have ever had. I hope one day in your journeys you will get to see it.
