Angelina grew up in Union City, California with a family of seven. Angelina started singing at a very young age; not knowing where her musical talents would take her, her parents enrolled Angelina for singing lessons when she was still in kindergarten.

Angelina got her big break when she attended an open audition for San Jose based label, UPSTAIRS RECORDS. Timid to even show up for the audition at first, Angelina finally caved in with the persistance of her roommate and friends. Which was a good thing, because the people at UPSTAIRS RECORDS loved her so much that they had chosen her to sing the dance single "RELEASE ME".  

Around 17 days later, after the recording process, the hit single was picked up by radio stations and from there on, Angelina was signed on to work for UPSTAIRS RECORDS. With UPSTAIRS RECORDS by her side, Angelina has gone on to release two albums currently in the market, with many successful singles under her name.

Before her singing career all started, Angelina once worked on an assembly line building cars for GM to help pay for her schooling. Angelina is very pro-community and devotes what free time she has in organizations, such as MECHA (Movimiento Estudiantil, Chicano de Aztlan), where she organizes recruitment drives amongst other things.
