| Hi everyone welcome to our updates page this will tell you what we have done this year so far. EASTER EGG RUN MARCH 30th 2002 We had to do our little bit for Easter. The club and some of the members collected Easter eggs for local charities total ammount of eggs collected was 68 (approx). There was around 31 bikes turned out for the event. Then over to BLYTH for the main Easter egg run organised by THE NORTHUMBERLAND BIKERS . Where there was over 600 motorcycles revving up their engines and over 2500 eggs was collected. Many thanks to all who turned out for the event and a special thanks to THE NORTHUMBERLAND BIKERS who made the total of our eggs collected to 200 so that we could deliver them to the elderly, disabled and childrens homes in this area. CHARITY ROCKNIGHT APRIL 26th 2002 The band was FM and the music was great we raised �400.00 for the NORTHUMBERLAND AIR AMBULANCE. We would like to thank the committee and bar staff of the TOGSTON TERRACE SOCIAL CLUB Northbroomhill Northumberland for all the help we recieved from them. Also not forgetting all the raffle prizes that was donated by local businesses. The members of our club for turning out and selling raffle tickets, not forgetting the FREE SPIRIT MCC COMMITTEE for all their running around all night keeping things going. After all it was great but hectic night. MANY THANKS AMBLE LIGHTS PARADE NOVEMBER 17TH 2002 The weather was dry so we had a good turn out from our members. There was 2 trikes and 7 bikes, for our part in the procession. We led the procession down Amble main street giving out lollypops to the children on the street. Everything went well for us and I would like to thank everyone who turned out for the event. |
