Did You Know:
That the Declaration of Independence was written on HempPaper?
Today you would go to jail for writing your grocery list on Hemp Paper
.
Did You Know:
We are the biggest prison building nation in the world?

To keep a few employed, we are imprisoning hundreds of thousands.

1.4 million imprisoned for drug offenses, it's wrong & they know it, But it's Big Business for Courts, Law Enforcement, Prison Guards, Food Suppliers, etc.

They will never turn it around without being forced by the voters, the voters that

Whether drug prohibition is continued indefinetly or not, we will always have a small percentage of our society that uses drugs. The fact that drugs are illegal does not deter the addict from obtaining his drugs of choice either.

A major side effect of prohibition is the fact that I-V drug users are forced to use unsterile syringes and black market drugs,(of which the puriety is unknown). As a result of using unsterile, or used needles, Hepatitus C, and AIDs is spread by unsuspecting I-V users. Some of you will say "Good ridance, they're just drug-users, who cares."
Even if the rest of us were to accept this point of view, which I don't, other groups of people are effected by this idealogy.

Our blood supply wasn't checked for HCV (Hepatitus C) until 1990. Before that time, many people were infected with HCV (Hepatitus C).
It is a blood-borne disease. Our government's position on not authorizing needle exchange programs is propogating the disease, which is gross negligence. One popular woman judge that has a TV show was recently quoted as saying "Give them all AIDs tainted needles and Let-em die."

This drug war is causing much more harm than good. Legal or illegal, there will always be drug users, just as there will always be alcohol consumption and tobacco use.

Opponents to Legalization always try to slander the character of pro-choice advocates. I heard one guy on the radio say Jesse Ventura is in favor of Legalizing "Drug Abuse". That's horseshit, and he knows it. Control & Legalization will stop much of the violence, black marketing and corruption.

The government propagada machine is very effective. The average person has no idea whats actually going on. Prohibition of alcohol didn't work, and it's not working now with drugs. The drug policy has always been aimed at what the politicians call minorities and less desireable groups.

Being a biker, I've been a part of this minority for 26 years. I've always been treated as a 2nd class citizen by the authorities. Ask most Bikers, Blacks, Latinos & Indians how they've been treated in general.

If you want change, vote in a new generation of people to public offices at all levels of government. Get everybody registered to vote. Support Independent or Libertarian parties.

Keep America Free by fighting to maintain your rights, or lose them.
Our Constitutional rights which many fought and died for, are slowly being eroded away.
You can do something about it now, before its to late.
Is writing your congressman so hard? It is the least you should do to protect your rights. We have instructions on how to do so here on this web-site. -

Can there be any greater pain
than to see injustice claim a friend?
To see someone's corrupt ambition
drag him down again

Someone with an axe to grind
an agenda to support
Using him as fodder
for a performance in the court

A callous individual
purports to serve the public trust
While grinding down the innocent
All the while, he calls it just

In the hottest pit of Hell
There's a very special place
That waits for men like that
This is what they'll face

So in the end there's justice
At least of a different sort
The judgment that they'll face
Comes from a higher court

Voices Behind The Walls
Dear President Bush
From: Brenda Lynch

I wrote this letter to Mr. President Bush back in July,
before the free Rusty Crew had jumped in and made
It possible for our trip down to Sheridan to see Scott.
Although its addressedto the President,
I would like to share it with anyone willing to hear
and sadly to those who can relate

Dear President Bush,
Hello there! My name is Brenda Lynch, I am from Spokane, Washington. I am requesting that you, please, take the time to read this email, and consider all it has to say, for it comes from the bottom of my broken heart.

On February 2nd, 2000, I kissed my husband good bye, and went to work, expecting to come home that evening to see him. But he was arrested on federal drug charges and sentenced to 10 years in a federal prison. My husband, Scott, is an absolutely wonderful man, whom I would die for. He is a man of his word, and I have yet found anyone that knows him to be less than fond of him. We were both contributing people to our community, owning two homes, 2 cars, and paying our taxes.

About one week after his arrest, we found out that we were going to have a baby. We couldn't have been more excited. I have one child who is nine from a previous marriage, And Scott, has taken her in and treated Brooklyn as his own flesh and blood. On August 8, 2000. I had an emergency c- section, one month early. We now were the proud parents of our second child, a beautiful baby boy, we named Brayden James Lynch. It was devastating to Scott that he wasn't able to be there for the birth of our son, and continues to be devastating to us both that he is unable to be with us, and be a part of our son's first experiences. We went from an average, loving family, to a struggling, devastated family in a period of about 18 months.

We spent $27,000.00 for defense attorneys. Which has left me totally broke. I have lost everything, both homes, all the savings we had, and most importantly, I lost my best friend, the man I had waited a lifetime to meet, and our children lost their father, whose guidance is needed greatly. I have no home, and no way to support my family, and to be honest with you, no spirit to even try anymore. I will most likely have to turn to public assistance to survive, and that very thought makes me just cringe. Our tax dollars are now going to be spent taking care of not only myself and my family, but my husband as well.

I have only been down to visit Scott once, because of the expense involved, however I am grateful that he was able to finally, at least, hold our son, and I was able to give him a hug, that was most certainly long overdue. My husband is not a drug dealer, or manufacturer, or even a drug user. I would like for you, Mr. President, to please think about one of your family members, perhaps, one of your daughters, losing their husband to the prison system. Or even your wife, who was just a passenger, was at the wrong place at the wrong time, and you now suddenly have to live your life without her. You can't mourn, and get over her, to go on with your life, because she hasn't passed away, and you can't be mad at her, for you weren't fighting at the time of her arrest. You only can make one of two choices; choose to stay with her and face the next ten years of your life to be lonely, All the holidays you will no longer enjoy, the anniversaries that you will be longing to hold your wife. Or you can choose to go on without her, leaving her all alone. What decision would you make? Or could you?

Would you be able to agree with the drug laws, and sentencing guidelines if your daughter was involved in a drug arrest and ripped from your family for several years? It happens to the best of people.

My Husband has never had any drug convictions, first time offender, and got ten years, TEN YEARS. He is against drug use and always has been, now he is in prison for a drug conviction he should never have gotten. The war on drugs is crushing many, many lives, spirits, and wills to succeed. Those men and women in there weren't always addicted to drugs, they are, for the most part, good people who never planned on becoming addicted, are ashamed they became addicted, and need help and support to overcome their addictions and be a part of their families lives, as they very much deserve.

America is being torn apart at a drastic rate because of our drug laws. Do you feel we will win our fight at this rate? Do you ever think, what if this were to happen to my family? I am attaching a photo taken while I was visiting my husband in prison. Our daughter Brooklyn was unable to come, but here is a photo of myself, Scott, and our son Brayden, whose lives have been shattered.

I thank you, Mr. President, for the time youve taken in reading this email, and I do apologize if I have, in any way, offended you or yours, for this is not my intention.

I wish you well Sincerely, Brenda S Lynch Spokane, Washington

Why Should I Get Involved?
A Priest was living in Germany when the Nazi's came to take his friend, a Rabbi, away one day. He didn't protest or say anything. It wasn't him or his faith they were after and it really wasn't his business anyway. A few weeks later they came back and took a Protestant Minister away. The same thing, it wasn't him they were after. Again, he didn't protest or say anything to help his brother and friend.
Then they came for him. He was looking for one of his brothers to help him. Then he realized that there was no one left to protest for him, they had all been taken in the weeks before while he stood by and said nothing.
