It's when you find yourself caring about someone who you never thought you would,
Maybe it's your best girl friend, or your next door neighbor, or maybe the new girl in school,
Or maybe the most unlikely person- just a lowly sophomore girl whose name you didn't know,
Whom you would have never talked to except that by pure chance you both took a class,
A class that sat you beside each other and invited a frienship to form,

Not to everyone else anyway, but it soon became apparent she was special to you,
You cared about her and it scared you because you didn't usually fall like that for a girl,
But you fell completely and totally for this girl,
This girl who has to be home at 12, who couldn't go to Denison with you, and who likes rap!,
But she also makes you laugh for no reason at all, and she cares about you so much,
Where it was her BOYS LIE shoelaces or her newfound love of Grasshopper Takeover,
You'll never know - you just know that you FELL for this girl.
