Gone

-

Sprawled on the floor
legs lifeless on the ground
A tear falls down her cheek
desperate breaths of air the only sound

Ivory-colored silk nightgown falling off her shoulder
not a movement to be made
red overtaking the white
to rest forever peacefully, to the Lord she prayed

Eyes in a daze
no movement in them to see
staring blankly to a picture on the floor
shattered, broken, nothing left to be

12 hours ago he left her
taking everything when he walked out the door
Leaving her with nothing, to dream forever more...
