Transparent

Arms and legs securely shackled;
I took an escape from my prison place.
I lowered my head and evoked a cackle,
Searching for a way to hide my face.

It was a truly bleak prophecy.
Ive forgotten everything I started out for.
Divide by my minds democracy,
Wishing people not to come around anymore.

I took the devils invitation,
And found myself amazed by this sight.
I was shocked by divine fixation
Lost in the darkness of midnight.

Is this occurrence real or just a dream?
I wake up drenched in a sweat-soaked bedcover.
I hear the damned begin to scream,
And know my journey is far from over.
