The Secret Admirer

I can no longer hide the love inside me
I think of something else but youre all I can see.
It flows from my words like songs from a bird
Perhaps this secret song youve already heard.

I room was cold and depleted
When you walked in it suddenly heated.
I can feel your essence in my chest
Would you join the singing bird in his lonely nest?

Youve given my a live a jumpstart;
Not loving youd be treason to my heart.
And in front of this empty, cold fireplace,
Out of the darkness comes your beautiful face.

Every time I see you, my passion rises,
With enough power to solve the energy crisis.
Im in heaven when you look in my eyes
But as I conceal the truth, it turns into lies.

No more secrets, no more fears
Even if this story should end in tears.
Id rather you hate me and say no
Then never tell you and never know.
