Lost

I find myself at a geminating road.
My faith and honesty, Ive sold.
Nothing much left in me but loathing & fear.
Nothing leftnot a laugh, nor a tear.

I notice my happiness has escaped me.
Wheres the joy that was promised to be?
That which confuses, neglects & blinds
Destroys our dreams & disjoins our minds.

Trapped in a world so helpless and bleak,
Containing people so clueless and weak.
Finally accepting Ive nothing to embrace.
My body without soul; my heart defaced.
