Timeless

Lift me up higher than love, love.
Tell me what youre thinking of.
Will the sky fall down today,
As quickly as the sky turns blue;
As quickly as Im falling for you?

Straining my eyes to see you come,
Sailing in to harbor on a sea of sun.
When I see you, what will I say?
Lost in the fragrance of your sweet essence.
Lost at the sight of your beautiful presence.

A smile from you is like a flock of birds
A freedom that can not be described in words.
I love you in every way.
Youre to me, a diamond in the sand.
Enchanted by the majesty of a timeless land.

Id trade the world for that breath-taking kiss.
Youre my saint and my evil temptress.
Resting in a barn covered in hay,
Watching our worries float away
Trying to keep my feelings at bay.

What will I do; how will I act?
My sole defense rests on a single fact
Youre in my mind, every minute of every day.
Well travel to mountain tops and lush valleys,
Because all we need is you and me.
