In My Mind

I live my day inside my head,
Inside my thoughts and desires.
Repeating to myself the things I shouldve said,
My eyes stay away as my body retires.

I imagine us alone on an ivory beach
Looking across a kingdom of fallen leaves.
Finding my hopes locked away with speech,
For you alone my lustful web weaves.

Crystal water which runs past the sun
And glistens in my painted mind.
A rainbow forms where the winds run
Your beauty defeats these both combined.

So lame is a days true reward
If you are absent when the gifts received.
I always feel unhappy and bored
But seeing you smile makes the pain relieved.
