Basket Case

Countless thoughts twist my brain,
But nothing seems to stay
Hard to get through a single day.
These things drive me insane,
Until theres nothing left but merciless pain.

Do my fears alone make me real?
This thought floats away into the sky,
But what of these tears in my eye?
Is regret all that I feel?
Im lost in the pain that I conceal.

I gather strength from the moonlit night.
Perhaps its pain I should release.
Out of nowhere comes inner peace.
Then I feel its gonna be alright,
The sun no longer blocks my sight.
