Give & Take

He cant let that girl go
Just throw in the towel, fool.
Every time he seems interested
She discards him like a tool.

He tells her that he loves her,
And she pretends he doesnt exist.
He tells her he must leave her
I need you is the response he gets.

What exactly should he do?
A mage couldnt unravel this mystery.
She wont even look at him when he stays.
When he leaves, she begs on her hands & knees.

He doesnt see the point anymore,
Hes fooled himself into captivity.
Getting a tire, bored expression
From always repeating the same activity.
