Evol

I speak, but have nothing to say
My modest words prove less gritty,
Thinking about the wrongs of yesterday
Alone and ashamed of my self-pity.

Its just not good anymore since you went away,
Finding my own actions more shameless.
Caught in the fishnet of soul decay,
As my lovers are increasingly nameless.

For all the passion that I expended,
I got nothing but bitter good-byes.
For all the politeness that I extended,
I got nothing but rude lies.

Compared to the queen I use to consider,
I see you now as the scum of love.
Not knowing the God that chose to litter
Upon a love that I knew nothing of.

Tired of fighting the treason of pride,
I wish to finish this foolish war.
For no one knows what its like inside
The way I dont feel anything anymore.
