Sweet Silence

Absent minded rambling,
Brain rotting music.
Our culture slowly tumbling
On suicidal lyrics.

No time for love;
Nothing left to save.
As the grip of our glove
Digs our passion a grave.

Just a few of us left
Admiring the quiet night.
With every sunrise a gift,
As we embrace its divine light.

Youre so selfish it hurts
The more you feed, the more you die.
Lifes joy measured in tiny spurts
Ill just pick a place to lie.

How much further can you
Destroy our world without cause?
In the beginning we all knew
Wed end ourselves in applause.

With war, hate, separate minds,
How can we stop our destiny?
With disgust so deep it blinds
Living in hell for all eternity.
